and a turnaround for the ages. It is indeed a turnaround for the ages.
Shortly after the president began, Texas Democratic Congressman Al Green, who was holding a sign which read, Black people are not apes, was escorted from the chamber by the sergeant at arms. Congressman Troy Nels of Texas grabbed Green's sign as he was being escorted out.
Green was referring to a video posted to the president's true social account recently that portrayed former President Obama and his wife Michelle as monkeys. The president said at that time the video was posted by a staffer and he didn't watch the whole thing before it was posted.
And the president introduced special guest Team USA's men's hockey team fresh off their gold medal win at the Olympics.
They beat a fantastic Canadian team in overtime, as everybody saw, as did the American women who will soon be coming to the White House.
The president announcing Goley Connor Hellebuck will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor. And the president promising the interests of the people are his ultimate concern.
That is the debt we owe to the heroes who came before us, and that is the promise we must keep.
On oil production, the president said U.S. oil production is up and Venezuela has given the U.S. more than 80 million barrels. More than 70 Democrats are not attending the address. Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger is set to deliver the Democratic response. America is listening to Fox News.

Chapter 3: How did Congressman Al Green's protest unfold during the address?
Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty against Tyler Robinson, who was charged with aggravated murder in the September 10th shooting of Kirk on the Utah Valley University campus in Orem. The Department of Homeland Security will not move forward with plans to open an immigration detention center in New Hampshire.
New Hampshire Republican Governor Kelly Ayotte says DHS no longer has plans for an immigration detention center in Merrimack. The Trump administration had planned to retrofit a warehouse into a processing center where those taken into custody during ICE actions would be held before later being deported.
The proposal had sparked large protests around the state and local officials had pushed back on the idea. It has created a political challenge for Ayotte, who is seeking re-election in November and denied having knowledge of the facility in January.
Earlier this month, Acting Director of ICE Todd Lyons told a Senate committee that DHS has worked with Ayotte on the facility, which Ayotte called, quote, simply untrue.
