Chapter 1: What recent actions has President Trump taken regarding DHS funding?
President Trump draws a line in the sand. I'm Daria Albinger, Fox News. President Trump posting on Truth Social tonight that no DHS funding bill should be passed until Democrats are ready to support the Save America Act. That act requires ID to vote in federal elections. Israel bracing for new attacks from Iran.
That's the sound of the sirens going off. That means the missiles are inbound, and we look off in the direction of Iran right now and wait to see where these missiles will appear in the sky. It's very different than the shorter-range rockets that we see out of Lebanon and we saw out of the Gaza Strip for so many years because those run out of fuel halfway, and you don't see the inbound rocket.
You only see the interceptors go up. What's different about the things that come in from Iran is they're ballistic missiles, so they leave the atmosphere, and when they re-enter, it's almost like a meteor shower with the rocket coming back in because they get hot upon re-entry to the atmosphere, and then you'll see the interceptors go up after them.
That's Fox's Mike Tobin in Tel Aviv. The TSA is about to get some backup as the partial government shutdown continues.
President Trump is sending in ICE agents to several major airports across the country with the hopes of helping out these TSA workers who have still gone with a $0 paycheck. And so this all comes as DHS is announcing that... TSA workers had the highest nationwide call out numbers yesterday at over 11 percent.
But at significant major airports all across the countries, we've seen 20 to 30 to more than 40 percent of TSA workers calling out. And this is the result of that painfully slow lines here in Atlanta, as well as other major airports across the country.

Chapter 2: How is Israel preparing for potential missile attacks from Iran?
There's been an arrest in the fatal shooting of a college student in Chicago. Here's Fox's CB Cotton.
DHS says ICE has lodged an arrest detainer for this illegal immigrant from Venezuela who has now been arrested for the death of college freshman Sheridan Gorman. The agency is identifying the suspect, Jose Medina Medina, and they shared this timeline saying in May 2023, he was apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol and released into the country under the Biden administration.
A little more than a month later, the agency says Medina Medina was arrested for shoplifting in Chicago and released out into the streets once again. DHS acting assistant secretary Lauren Biss writing in part, quote, We are calling on Governor Pritzker and Chicago's sanctuary politicians to commit to not releasing this criminal illegal alien back into American neighborhoods.
Chicago police have described the shooting as an ambush. They've also recovered a gun and say they're awaiting a residue test. Evacuation warnings have been lifted for the north shore of Oahu, but there's more heavy rain in the forecast where the Hawaiian island and flash flood watches remain in effect.
I just don't even know what to think. It's just devastating. just not ourselves, it's just friends and families and loved ones.
She's lost everything. Hawaii's Governor Josh Green says this is the worst flooding that Hawaii has gotten in about 20 years, and he says the cost to repair the damage could easily top a billion dollars. The Senate is expected to vote tomorrow or Tuesday to confirm Mark Wayne Mullen. He's President Trump's choice to run the Department of Homeland Security.
A cloture or test vote today showed the necessary support to move the nomination of the Oklahoma Republican senator ahead. If Mullen is confirmed, he's going to replace Kristi Noem. I'm Daria Albinger.
