An update on the action in Iran. I'm Lisa Lacerra, Fox News. The White House says President Trump will update the nation on the Iran conflict tomorrow night at nine. Earlier, the president said the military is finishing the job. The U.S. mission could be wrapped up in two to three weeks. After asked for talks with Iran, the president said they come to the table.
That'll be good. But it doesn't matter whether they come or not. We've set them back. It'll take 15 to 20 years for them to rebuild what we've done to them.
On the Strait of Hormuz, the president said it's not up to the U.S. to secure it, but rather than up to countries that use it. Secretary of State Marco Rubio tells Fox's Sean Hannity the administration can see the finish line on Iran.
It's not today, it's not tomorrow, but it is coming. We are going to get to the point where our military will have achieved all of its objectives in this mission.
