The U.S. Secret Service says law enforcement shot and killed a man who they say was carrying a shotgun and a fuel can and trying to enter Mar-a-Lago earlier today. FBI Miami Field Office Special Agent in Charge Brett Skiles says the FBI is assisting in the investigation.
Currently, our evidence response team is processing the scene, collecting evidence, and we'll continue to work the scene for as long as it takes.
President Trump was not at Mar-a-Lago at the time, and no police or agents were hurt. Thousands of flights already canceled as the Northeast gets ready for a winter storm to come barreling through.
The blizzard warning is in place from just outside D.C., wrapping up along the coast, getting up towards Boston. That means whiteout conditions you're really not going to be able to see at all because the snow will be coming down very heavy, winds 50, 60 miles an hour. That is what's going to limit visibility down to under a quarter of a mile for over three hours.
This system running all the way through today, overnight. It's not going to be until tomorrow evening that you finally see this system clear out. New York City forecasting 18 to 24 inches of snow in the city. Boston, even bigger numbers, two to three feet of snow is possible. All that and those winds are going to be really intense. It's going to be a tough next couple of days.

A crime that drew national attention, sparking a debate over campus safety and American immigration policy.
Jose Antonio Ibarra was found guilty on all counts in a bench trial, sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. His attorneys are now looking for a new trial. They argue there were errors in the original trial proceedings. President Trump approving emergency assistance for D.C. to aid the district in cleaning up a sewage system spill.
FEMA confirming this in a statement saying, quote, The president's action authorizes FEMA to coordinate all disaster relief efforts to alleviate the hardship and suffering caused by the emergency on the local population and to provide appropriate assistance.
