Why did Air Force One turn around and what does it mean for the President’s travel plans?
Turning around, I'm Sue Guzman, Fox News. Air Force One returning to Washington tonight. White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said that the decision was made to return after takeoff when the crew aboard Air Force One identified a minor electrical issue. And out of an abundance of caution, decided to turn around. The president will board another aircraft upon his return and then continue on his way to Davos to attend the World Economic Forum. Before boarding Air Force One earlier, he spoke with reporters.
This will be an interesting trip. I have no idea what's going to happen, but you are well represented.
And President Trump not backing down from his threats to take Greenland for the United States. Fox's Greg Palcott reports from London.
What are President Trump’s new threats toward Greenland and how are other nations responding?
He claims both Russia and China are making Arctic moves around this Western Hemisphere island. And of course, there's those rare earth minerals buried way beneath the ice. A deployment of troops there in recent days by NATO countries triggered the latest salvos from Trump, threatening 10% tariffs on goods from countries like the UK and France starting in February if he doesn't get what he wants. And those get escalated to 25% later in the year. The people of Greenland, Denmark, the EU, NATO, well, they're having none of this. They say the land is not for sale or, for that matter, for conquering.
Federal prosecutors serving six grand jury subpoenas to Minnesota officials, including Governor Tim Walz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry, and State Attorney General Keith Ellison. It's part of an investigation into whether they obstructed or impeded federal law enforcement during ICE operations in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Attorney General Pam Bondi telling Fox she wants to hold all those involved accountable.

What led to the resignation of Justice Department prosecutor Lindsay Halligan and the political fallout?
The top Justice Department prosecutor who pursued indictments against former FBI Director James Comey and New York State Attorney General Letitia James is leaving her position. Details from Fox's Tom Rigotti.
Attorney General Pam Bondi is confirming that Lindsay Halligan is resigning. Halligan's departure comes as her 120-day tenure as interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia had expired. Halligan was picked for the role by President Trump in September, only to have a judge two months later rule that the appointment was illegal. Bondi in a statement slammed Democrats in blue states, blocking the president's appointment of U.S. attorneys, saying the circumstances that led to this outcome are deeply misguided. Tom Rigotti, Fox News.
Virginia's new Democratic governor, Abigail Spanberger, working to undo former governor Glenn Youngkin's policies.
How is Virginia’s new Democratic governor handling immigration policy and environmental initiatives?
More from Fox's Alexandria Hoff.
Starting with ending a directive for state and local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE. Immigration advocates say the move helps build community trust. The Homeland Security Department tells Fox when local authorities don't assist, quote, that is when we have to have a more visible presence. Along with electing its first female governor, Virginia is now among 16 states with a Democrat trifecta controlling the governorship in both chambers of the state legislature. State Republicans are already sounding the alarm on a slew of freshly proposed House bills. One move the governor sees as cost-saving, rejoining the regional greenhouse gas
