Without Congress agreeing on funding for the Department of Homeland Security, under which TSA workers fall, long lines at airports remain. Fox's Madison Scarpino has more from Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.
This airport has had one of the highest call-out rates for TSA workers in the country every single day. We have seen massive long lines here, but not today. And it's unclear if it's because of President Trump's executive order to pay TSA workers as soon as Monday. We also know that ICE agents have been here assisting TSA workers so they can handle the specialty screening process as they went without yet another paycheck. But overall, good news for anyone traveling out of Atlanta today. This is the slowest we have seen Hartsfield-Jackson in days. But it is a much different story over in Baltimore. People waiting for hours. Many travelers are missing their flights, having to change spring break plans that they've had for months.
And a lot of folks are fed up with Congress.
Congress is expected to return from their Easter Passover break the week of April 13th. Gulf legend Tiger Woods has been released on bail following his arrest on DUI charges.
This is the second time he's been arrested for DUI. Police say he passed a breathalyzer test, but also still appeared to be under the influence of either medication. or drug. Woods spent about eight hours in jail, cameras capturing the motorcade of SUVs that took him out of the area. Investigators say they did take steps to ensure that Woods was safe while he was in their custody, but otherwise was not getting any special treatment. This all started around two o'clock yesterday afternoon when Woods apparently attempted to pass a pressure cleaning truck on a two-lane road. Woods' car clipped the back of the truck's trailer, flipped over. The good news, nobody was seriously injured. We're still waiting new details of what his first court appearance may be.
We've heard from a lot of people, including President Trump, who called Woods an amazing man.
