I'm calling on Congress to pass this framework into law so that we can get immediate relief to the American people, including rural America. And I hope to get Democrat votes. But many Democrats and some Republicans in Congress want to bring back expired Obamacare subsidies, which the president opposes, arguing those tax breaks benefit insurance companies.
As anti-ICE protests continue in Minneapolis, Democrats keep calling for immigration enforcement operations to end. This is not routine enforcement.
Chapter 2: How are emergency powers being challenged in the Supreme Court?
This is not about public safety. This is not even about immigration. This is about political retribution. Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar at a field hearing in St. Paul as Democrats also accuse ICE of racial profiling and trying to suppress free speech rights. White House border czar Tom Homan tells Fox ICE needs better messaging to get the facts out.
Homan asked why no one protested the assault and murder of women like Lakin Riley or Jocelyn Nungari.
Bottom line is 70% of everybody arrested is a criminal. We need to start advertising that every single day and putting their pictures all over social media.
Following the ICE shooting of Rene Good last week, the mayor of Minneapolis told ICE to get out. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz told protesters to record agents and create a record of their actions.
