What are the details of the recent protests against ICE?
Protesters arrested. I'm Deborah Valentine, Fox News. NEI's protesters are demonstrating outside of a hotel where ICE agents are thought to be housed. Fox's Garrett Tenney reporting from Minneapolis.
This is one of the loudest protests that I have been at. There are hundreds of people here. It's whatever you can make noise with. We've got a lot of whistles, just whatever pots and pans people could grab, a spatula, a Lid of a pot. There's tubas, trumpets, lots of whistles. We even saw an inflatable frog with an accordion.
So they are here because they believe ICE agents are staying at this hotel. We don't know if that's actually the case, but their goal is to try to make sure that ICE agents have as hard of a time as possible sleeping. They plan to be out here for three, four hours plus. Hundreds of people are here.
They have totally blocked off almost an entire city block here. The protests after an ICE agent who claims self-defense fatally shot an anti-ICE protester. Protests continuing in Portland, Oregon, where federal agents reportedly shot two illegal migrants with alleged terrorism connections.
DHS says the driver of, they say he tried to run over law enforcement, ended up getting shot, and then called 911. Take a listen to the dispatch audio. Police are en route. It looks like caller saying that he was shot twice by ICE. and his wife was shot as well. DHS identified both suspects in this case as criminal illegal aliens from Venezuela.
They say the driver was arrested for DUI and unauthorized use of a vehicle, and DHS identified the passenger in the vehicle as a 32-year-old woman who is affiliated with a Trinidad and Guam prostitution ring.
