Look, we're looking forward to the negotiation. I think it's going to be positive. We'll, of course, see. As the President of the United States said, if the Iranians are willing to negotiate in good faith, we're certainly willing to extend the open hand.
Hours later, Iran said it would not proceed with talks without a Lebanon ceasefire unless its assets are unfrozen. Another sticking point, the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. Fox's Trey Yinkst reports from Tel Aviv that an Israeli intelligence official says Iran is charging fees for ships to pass through the strait.
This official adds the strait is effectively under full IRGC control. They decide who gets to go through. I am told that there is intelligence being shared in the intel community about how Iran is trying to tighten its grip on this strait ahead of the negotiations this weekend.
Overnight, President Trump taking to True Social, saying Iran is doing a very poor job of allowing oil to go to the strait. That is not the agreement we have.
It's splashdown day for the Artemis II moon astronauts, and there's a very tight re-entry window of just 13 minutes in which everything must go right. Fox's Jonathan Suri explains from Johnson Space Center in Houston.
