The 33rd anniversary commemoration remembers the six victims who died in the first terror attack at the World Trade Center. On February 26, 1993, a small cell of terrorists detonated about 1,200 pounds of explosives in a rental van in the underground parking garage at the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan. It created a five-story, 150-foot-wide crater, killing six and hurting more than 1,000 others. Some of the 1993 survivors would go on to become dual survivors, living through both the bombing and the 9-11 attacks. The ceremony will include the reading of victims' names and a moment of silence.
