The policy would allow officials to detain refugees legally admitted to the U.S. if they failed to obtain a green card after a year in the country. Advocacy groups say it puts at risk more than 100,000 refugees with applications pending. DHS argues the initial focus is on about 5,600 refugees living in Minnesota.

More than 30 percent call outs in places like BWI and JFK, places like New Orleans and Atlanta, topping 40 percent call outs. The White House saying we want the government back open fully. Democrats saying they'll do it only if and when they make some changes to how ICE handles business. In the meantime, agents are hoping to help you get from point A to point B.

Federal investigators began their look into what may have led to the collision of that Air Canada jet and a fire truck at New York's LaGuardia Airport late Sunday night.
