President Trump says the United States will postpone attacks against Iran's energy infrastructure for five days after his administration held productive discussions with Iran. Senior Iranian officials deny that. The Speaker of Iran's parliament posted, quote, no negotiations have been held with the U.S. and fake news is used to manipulate the financial and oil markets.
and escape the quagmire in which the U.S. and Israel are trapped. Confronted with Iran's claims, the president contended the sides are talking.

Iranian leadership is in chaos from U.S. and Israeli assassination strikes. Axios reports Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey passed messages between envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner and Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalib.
And comes after the president threatened to attack Iranian power plants Saturday unless it agreed to open the Strait of Hormuz. And smoke rose from central Tel Aviv today as Iranian missiles and drones targeted Israel and Gulf Arab states. A strict new immigration rule from the Trump administration put on hold by a federal judge.
A federal judge in Boston is blocking a new policy that would put thousands of refugees at risk of arrest and detention. Judge Richard Stern sided with a group of refugees and two advocacy groups who argued the Department of Homeland Security's policy is unlawful and a departure from decades of practice. The policy would allow officials to detain refugees legally admitted to the U.S.
if they failed to obtain a green card after a year in the country. Advocacy groups say it puts at risk more than 100,000 refugees with applications pending. DHS argues the initial focus is on about 5,600 refugees living in Minnesota.
