How did President Trump describe the aborted strike and Iran's response?

He says Iran asked him to call off the strikes, but Tehran so far has not publicly commented. Trump's decision reportedly came after Saudi Arabia's crown prince pushed for de-escalation. The U.S.-Iran ceasefire collapsed last month, disrupting global oil markets, driving up U.S. gas prices and deepening Iran's economic crisis.
Meantime, police in Twin Falls, Idaho have identified the gunman. They say shot and killed two people and injured seven at a fast food restaurant on Saturday.
The restaurant chain owner confirmed one of the victims was an employee. Police Chief Matthew Hicks did release the name of the shooter and how he died.
We can confirm that the suspect, 24-year-old Chad Williams, is deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Chief Hicks also credited an off-duty Idaho trooper and an armed citizen for engaging the shooter and driving him away from the restaurant before he took his own life.
