Fox's Jennifer Griffin, the jet is an F-15E. One of the main warplanes used by the U.S. military. And I think it's important to point out that of 13,000 strikes, airstrikes on Iran over the past five weeks, this is the first U.S. manned warplane to go down over Iran. It's a remote area.
The hope is that the pilot that is remaining on the ground, the SEER training, the survival and evasion training that they would have gotten has kicked in.
The White House says President Trump has been briefed Israel pausing its strikes during the search. The Wall Street Journal now reporting that a multi-nation effort led by Pakistan to reach a ceasefire between the US and Iran has hit a dead end, at least for now, with Iran telling mediators US demands are unacceptable.
Iran's Fars news agency reporting Iran rejected a US proposal for a 48-hour ceasefire. The White House says the US economy has accelerating momentum. after a surprise jobs report.
Hiring jumped last month. There were 178,000 new jobs created in March, tripled the number expected, and the unemployment rate declined to 4.3%. In March, jobs were added in health care, construction, transportation, and warehousing. Federal government jobs continue to shrink. Fox's Jenny Kosola.

The 19-year-old and two friends drove from Colorado to the 7,600-acre ranch located 30 miles south of Santa Fe. They wanted to film themselves trespassing on March 26. Marcias Lewis says he got separated from the other two in the scramble to evade security, sliding down a ridge to escape, saying a ranch manager fired a gun in his direction.
An attorney for the property's current owners denied anyone had fired on the trespasser, saying a firearm was used to kill a large rattlesnake. The property manager showed law enforcement a dead snake he said he shot that morning.
The trio faces misdemeanor counts of trespassing, but allege guards use threatening language and a racial slur, plus their equipment left behind in a backpack was destroyed.
Fox's CJ Papa, videos of people trespassing on Epstein properties have become a viral trend in recent months. The largest airline in the world, United, expanding fare options for premium cabins with a new basic version called Base, costing less than existing standard and flexible packages.
