Still searching. I'm Daria Albinger, Fox News. It's been two weeks since Nancy Guthrie was last seen. Overnight, police swarmed a home near her Arizona residence with sources telling Fox Digital that at least three people were detained for a period of time. They're not saying, though, if the suspects are tied, if they are suspects, rather, or are tied to the case.
Chapter 2: What happened in the Nancy Guthrie case?
Fox's Matt Finn reports from Tucson with the latest.
There was a massive law enforcement presence, a SWAT team, numerous law enforcement vehicles, and apparently law enforcement surrounded a home, perhaps questioned people. It's not clear exactly if anyone was ultimately detained, but I spoke with the Pima County Sheriff. He tells us that there have been no arrests and no one is in custody after all that law enforcement activity.
Now, last night, the Pima County Sheriff's Office did confirm that what we were seeing on the ground is related to the Nancy Guthrie case, writing... Law enforcement activity is underway at a residence near East Orange Grove Road and at North First Ave related to the Guthrie case. Because this is a joint investigation at the request of the FBI, no additional information is currently available.
The FBI has increased the award to $100,000. Secretary of State Marco Rubio addressing the Munich Security Conference in Germany earlier today. He discussed ongoing talks to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, assuring that the U.S. is committed to finding a resolution the two countries will agree to.
What we can't answer, but we're going to continue to test, is whether there is an outcome that Ukraine can live with and that Russia will accept.
Russia's demanding that Ukraine give up four eastern regions, but Ukraine's president says the country's people would have to approve a constitutional amendment to give up the land. Five European nations now say Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was poisoned with a lethal toxin. They say lab tests confirm that a toxin found in South American poison dart frogs did it.
