Just as President Trump says the pressure is beginning to tell, there is a 15-point peace plan that somebody in the Iranian leadership is willing to talk to the U.S. about, although the White House wouldn't give any details about the plan or whomever the U.S. is actually negotiating with.
Iran's parliament speaker warning that Gulf state leaders that if they're assisting the U.S. in a ground invasion on Iranian territory, they would face relentless unceasing attacks. Ukraine's president says the U.S. is demanding he give land over to Russia in exchange for security guarantees.
President Vladimir Zelensky has told Reuters that American negotiators have placed a big condition on security guarantees proposed as part of peace talks that Ukraine withdraw from the entire Donbass region. Russian President Vladimir Putin insists that control of Donbass is an essential war aim, while Ukraine wants Western protection from any future Russian attack.
President Zelensky says a Ukrainian withdrawal from Donbass would compromise his country's security and that of Europe. He feels that President Trump is putting much more pressure on him to agree a deal than he is on Russia. Jonathan Savage, Fox News.
At least 18 are dead and dozens of others injured after a bus plunged into a river in central Bangladesh. Many of the passengers swam to safety, but others got trapped. It's not clear if there are others missing. America's listening to Fox News.
