Chapter 1: What updates are there on the Nancy Guthrie search?
A person detained, questioned, then released in the Nancy Guthrie search. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News, and Carlos Palazuelos talked to Fox a short time ago.
So right now, all I know is that they showed my in-law a picture of somebody wearing a mask or something, and they supposedly looked like my eyes. Right, okay. That's it. That's all I know.
Matt Finn interviewed him outside his home in Rio Rico, Arizona, south of Tucson, which investigators also had searched.
Ultimately, Carlos told us he was questioned, asked about his whereabouts. They took his phone and that's it. He says he's a free man.
Chapter 2: What happened during the school shooting in Western Canada?
He wants his name cleared. He doesn't want to be associated with the Guthrie case. You know, so it's not quite clear what investigators got from this search. Perhaps they'll be able to extract something from his cell phone or, I don't know, perhaps DNA.
That's day 11 of the search for Nancy Guthrie. And after the FBI released a video of a masked man wearing gloves outside her home around the time of the kidnapping in Tucson, FBI Director Kash Patel tells Fox.
We're going to continue to develop those leads, continue to serve legal process, continue to work with our private sector partners, and continue to produce as much information publicly as we can. They're in mourning in Western Canada after a school shooting.
Seven were shot dead at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia. Police believe two more bodies found at a nearby home are connected.
Chapter 3: What security measures are affecting El Paso flights?
A woman, who officers think was the shooter, died of what's described as a self-inflicted injury.
That's Fox's Jonathan Savage. About 25 others in the school were wounded, two airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries. Nobody is flying into or out of El Paso, Texas today. The FAA is halting all flights, commercial and cargo, and general aviation for 10 days, putting that in place late last night. The El Paso airport, in a statement, says it appears to be security-related.

Chapter 4: What is the latest on the Jeffrey Epstein investigation?
Listen and follow now at foxnewspodcasts.com or wherever you listen to podcasts.
Attorney General Pam Bondi will be questioned today at a House hearing and could be asked about the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking investigation in the files and controversial immigration enforcement the day after ICE got a lot of heat at another hearing.
They are reckless, creating chaos in our communities, terrorizing adults and children alike. and undermining our moral authority as a nation of liberty and rule of law.
That's Democratic Congressman Benny Thompson. He also spoke out while displaying big photos of Rene Good and Alex Preddy, who were shot dead in Minneapolis in confrontations with agents. Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons told the hearing they have to do their jobs. They won't be intimidated by dangerous anti-ICE resistance.
Death threats against ICE personnel increased more than 8,000%. Assaults on officers have skyrocketed over 1,400%.

Chapter 5: What are the expectations for the upcoming jobs report?
One officer in Minnesota had his finger bitten off by a protester, egged on by elected officials characterizing our offices as Gestapo or secret police.
Democrats are threatening to not fund Homeland Security beyond Friday unless there are ICE operation reforms. We'll get a key report on the economy this morning. The jobs report delayed by last week's partial government shutdown.
Economists polled by the Wall Street Journal expect that employers added 60,000 employees to payrolls last month, up from a lower-than-expected tally of 50,000 in December. The report comes two weeks after the Federal Reserve paused its easing cycle and pointed out signs of labor market stabilization.
The unemployment rate is anticipated to hold steady at 4.4 percent in January for the second month in a row.
Fox's Hilary Barsky. That report could be a stock market mover. Ahead of it, futures are mixed, like yesterday when the Dow rose to a new record high, but the Nasdaq dropped 136 points.
