Economists polled by the Wall Street Journal expect that employers added 60,000 employees to payrolls last month, up from a lower-than-expected tally of 50,000 in December. The report comes two weeks after the Federal Reserve paused its easing cycle and pointed out signs of labor market stabilization. The unemployment rate is anticipated to hold steady at 4.4 percent in January for the second month in a row.
