Chapter 1: What recent developments are happening in the U.S.-Iran conflict?
The U.S. and Israel keep bombing Iran for an 11th day. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News.
But President Trump suggests it'll end very soon when... They will no longer have any capacity whatsoever for a very long period of time of... Developing weaponry that could be used against the United States. Fox's Trey Yingst is in Tel Aviv.
Overnight, I spoke with President Trump for about 20 minutes as he traveled back to Washington from Florida, getting some new insight on the commander in chief's thinking about Operation Epic Fury, the success so far, and what he thinks about Iran's new supreme leader. I asked him about and he said that he's not happy with this election. He goes on to say, I don't believe he can live in peace.
He also gave some new details on the timing of this operation and why it needed to take place when it did. He said, when we attacked them first, we knocked out 50 percent of their missiles. And if we didn't, it would have been a much harder fight.
The president also warns he'll hit Iran much harder if they block oil shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Oil prices are falling this morning 5% back to 89 bucks a barrel, but gas prices are up another 6 cents. The remains of the 7th U.S. soldier killed in the conflict came back to the U.S. last night in a flag-draped coffin.
Sergeant Benjamin Pennington was 26 years old from Glendale, Kentucky. He died Sunday, a week after being wounded in an Iranian attack on the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. Vice President Vance and War Secretary Hegseth were there for the dignified transfer honoring the return of a service member's remains. at Dover Air Base in Delaware.
That's Fox's Chris Foster. We'll get an update on the war from Secretary Higgs at next hour. Polls just opening now in Georgia for a special House election to replace former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.

The district has been reliably red for years. There are 12 Republicans, three Democrats, a Libertarian, and an Independent, all listed on the ballot. If nobody wins a majority of votes today, the top two candidates will compete in a runoff election on April 7th.

JetBlue is flying this morning after some overnight turbulence. The airline had to ground operations briefly because of a system outage since fixed. There could be long lines, though, at airports with some TSA security workers not showing up again as they continue to have to work without paychecks.
As Homeland Security remains unfunded, Democrats keep blocking new money demanding immigration enforcement reforms. Meanwhile, President Trump is putting more pressure on Congress to approve a voter ID law.
The president says he may not sign off on any other legislation and have the House and Senate pass the Save America Act.
It'll guarantee the midterms. It'll guarantee the midterms. If you don't get it, big trouble.
President Trump making his plea at a House Republicans conference in Miami, urging the House to put pressure on Senate Republicans to do away with the filibuster to pass the measure.
Because I don't think you can politically exist if you're not going to do voter ID in these things. I don't think the people in this country will stand for it.
