Chapter 1: What recent events have led to a ceasefire deal with Iran?
It is a big day for world peace. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. That's what President Trump wrote in a late night Truth Social post hours after he agreed to a ceasefire deal with Iran ahead of his deadline and included a threat to bomb all Iran's bridges and power plants and wipe out a civilization.
What the president did is he basically issued an ultimatum to the Iranians. He said, open up the straits, stop trying to hold the world's economy hostage, and we'll engage in a ceasefire. And that's exactly the agreement that we came to last night.
That's Vice President Vance a short time ago in Hungary. He also called it a fragile truce. And underscoring that... More Iranian attacks last night. That's an air raid siren in Israel after missiles were fired with cluster bombs.
Shortly after, the Iranians put out a statement matching the president's and then proceeded to launch missiles and drones at Gulf countries.
That's Fox's Trey Yinkst in Tel Aviv.
Now, since the overnight hours, the fire has stopped toward Israel but has continued toward Gulf countries.
There are reports of attacks in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, and Iran claims one of its oil refineries was targeted.

Chapter 2: What are the implications of President Trump's ultimatum to Iran?
At the heart of the ceasefire... The president's assertion that Iran reopens the Strait of Hormuz immediately, allowing the free flow of oil and other shipping.
But, you know, there is still work to be done here. While President Trump called a new 10-point peace plan by Iran a workable basis on which to negotiate, it does seem to contain several non-starters. According to Iranian state media, the plan includes...
continued control of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran, the acceptance of enrichment for its nuclear program, the lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions, and the unfreezing of Iranian assets.
That's Fox's Alexandria Hoff. The ceasefire has oil prices plunging 16%, stock market futures surging 1,200 points for the Dow, and markets are up big in Europe and Asia. A Trump-backed Republican won a special runoff election in Georgia, keeping a House seat red, replacing GOP Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene as Clay Fuller. America's listening to Fox.
Well, back to this ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran, pausing Operation Epic Fury. Israel will also stop attacking Iran, but not Lebanon.
Both Iran and Pakistan's prime minister, who helped broker the two-week truce, says the deal covers Lebanon as well as Iran, but Israel insists that's not the case. The Israeli military's been fighting the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah.

Chapter 3: How is the ceasefire affecting global oil prices?
It's attacked Lebanon's capital, Beirut, from the air and sent ground forces into the south of the country, where they intend to remain until the Hezbollah threat is gone. Israel's been destroying homes and villages in areas where it says Hezbollah was active. Hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to move. Jonathan Savage, Fox News.
The leader of a drug cartel in Mexico.
Chapter 4: What is the current situation regarding Israeli attacks in Lebanon?
could spend the rest of his life behind bars in the U.S.
Federal prosecutors say Eric Valencia Salazar helped form the Mexico-based Jalisco New Generation cartel, which the U.S. State Department designated as a foreign terrorist organization last year. The 49-year-old of Santa Clara, California, pleading guilty in Washington, D.C., to one count of conspiring to distribute cocaine for U.S. importation. A sentencing hearing is set for July 31st.
He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and up to a maximum life sentence. Kristen Goodwin, Fox News.
It is day eight of the Artemis II mission, and the four astronauts are on their way back from that fly around the moon, making history, going farther from Earth than any mission ever.
Chapter 5: What charges has the leader of the Jalisco New Generation cartel faced?
And there was another first yesterday, and out of this world call... The crew on the moon mission talked to the crew at the International Space Station, where they wanted to know what the view from the moon was like.
I found myself noticing not only the beauty of the Earth, but how much blackness there was around it.
The Artemis II mission will end Friday night when the Orion spacecraft they named Integrity splashes down off the California coast. I'm Dave Anthony.
