This is a Fox News alert. A leader in the civil rights movement has died. I'm Dave Anthony. The Reverend Jesse Jackson.
That is the unfinished business that I'm about, fighting for equal opportunity for all Americans and peace in the world.
His family put out a statement that Jackson died peacefully this morning, surrounded by family, calling him a tireless change agent who elevated the voices of the voiceless.
Once a protege of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Reverend Jesse Jackson became one of the country's leading civil rights leaders in his own right, establishing the Rainbow Push Coalition based in Chicago. That's Fox's Kevin Uretsky. Iran State TV is now reporting another round of talks with the U.S. through a mediator in Geneva have just finished.
I would say they're bad negotiators because... We could have had a deal instead of sending the B-2s in to knock out their nuclear potential.
And President Trump's threatened the U.S. could attack again like last year if Iran doesn't make a nuclear deal. Iran's supreme leader warns today they could slap the U.S. down, adding the president cannot depose the Islamic Republic. Chapter 3: What details emerged from the shooting incident in Pawtucket, Rhode Island?
Two others were killed. Fox's Todd Pyra reports an ATF source says it was a man who targeted his wife and kids and then killed himself.
Police have identified the shooter as 56-year-old Robert Borgen, but say he may have identified as transgender, going by the name Roberta Esposito, an unnamed woman who claims to be the shooter's daughter, telling reporters that he had mental health issues.
A police officer shot dead in the Indianapolis area. Another was wounded. The suspected gunman found hours later late last night when Indiana State Police Sergeant John Perrine says a good Samaritan helped.
They pointed us in the direction of where they believed the suspect was hiding, and IMPD SWAT was able to move in within minutes of that tip.
