Weather warnings along the East Coast. I'm Kathleen Maloney, Fox News. People in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast are bracing for a powerful nor'easter hitting this morning. Fox Weather's Adam Klotz on what we can expect.
Consistent snow all the way until Monday morning and then lingering through the first half of the day, even on Monday. So this is going to be a long, deranged event as we're tracking all of this snow. How much are you ultimately going to get?
What impact will the nor'easter have on the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast?
12 to 18 inches. I think fairly widespread. You're going to be seeing spots getting up to 15 inches or so. Additionally, you can have the winds 50, 60 miles an hour. And that obviously is a big problem as well, because any snow that's on the ground will be blowing and we will be losing visibility. That's what ultimately becomes a blizzard. And of course, with that, you're talking about widespread power outages, basically up and down these coastal areas. So this is going to be a major event that we're tracking today, tomorrow. The effects, though, we'll be seeing certainly late into next week.
6,500 US flights have been canceled due to that storm, with 550 delayed so far through Tuesday. A warning to Iran, time is running out to reach a nuclear deal with the US.
President Trump is giving Tehran just 10 to 15 days to come to an agreement. He says Iran can't continue to threaten stability in the region. The warning comes as the U.S. continues building up a major military presence in the Middle East. It includes dozens of military aircraft, thousands of troops, two aircraft carriers and other naval forces. A top Iranian official claims the draft deal, a draft deal, could be ready in the next few days. The plan apparently centers on cooperation. curbing Iran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. Reuters reports the Trump administration remains divided on possible military action. Some advisors are urging the president to instead put more focus on the economy ahead of November's midterms.

The Crime Stoppers president says he hopes the money will incentivize people to talk, and he claims that people can call Crime Stoppers and remain anonymous. The case wasn't solved. They weren't featuring Crime Stoppers. which I thought was an important step. No one else did it, so I stepped in and offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator. We're waiting on possible matches from DNA recovered from inside the house, but there's no guarantee on that or timeline.

A lot of world leaders have been looking at this Supreme Court ruling with caution, unsure of how it will affect the administration's deals and framework agreements. They're also not off the hook just yet because the president says he intends to keep tariffs for now. He'll just be using a different trade law. He'll be invoking Section 122 of the 1974 Trade Act to impose tariffs on a temporary basis. He made this announcement. He's raising the 10% worldwide tariff on countries to what he called the fully allowed and legally tested 15% level. The administration will also be conducting investigations using another authority that opens the door for tariffs on countries that engage in unfair trading practices.
