The protest sparked outrage among the congregation and fury among Trump administration officials who quickly promised a full investigation. Attorney General Pam Bondi writing on X, quote, "...attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians..." are being met with the full force of federal law.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz's office released a statement saying, quote, while people have a right to speak out, he in no way supports interrupting a place of worship.
Fox's Jonathan Hunt in Minneapolis. This is the Department of Justice has notified a federal appeals court that it will appeal a ruling that federal officers in the Minneapolis area cannot detain or cure gas peaceful protesters who are not obstructing authorities.

With the deadline approaching to fund the government, Democrats are pushing funding to limit funding for ICE.
January 30th is the deadline to fund much of the federal government, including ICE. Republicans are ready to pounce. Republicans believe the politics of the ICE debate are on their side as the midterms approach.

Fox's Chad Pergram on Capitol Hill. The deal just announced yesterday between the Syrian government and the country's Kurdish-led force already unraveling a day after it was announced. As a new round of battles breaks out, the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces issuing a statement calling for all of our youth to join the ranks of the resistance.
Earlier, Syrian government forces and Kurdish fighters clashed around two prisons housing members of ISIS.

The FBI Houston office says four rideshare drivers have been charged with kidnapping passengers and sexually assaulting them.
Federal officials say that the drivers use similar tactics. So they would target women who were intoxicated. They would change their routes, not let them out of the car, and then sexually assault them. The four drivers from the Houston area are now federally charged in separate cases with kidnapping and sexual assault.
