They continue to hold talks over the regime's nuclear program, or lack thereof, while Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and the President's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, partner with the Vice President and Pakistan's Prime Minister, all in an effort to convince the regime to change for their own good. Meantime, back here at home, some lawmakers continue to express skepticism about the long-term prospects for peace because of the regime's past behavior and the fact that they rarely, if ever, actually honored the deals they signed.
