Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
More anger. I'm Paul Stevens, Fox News. Authorities say a Border Patrol officer fatally shot a person in Minneapolis on Saturday who they say was armed with a gun and two magazines. But multiple media outlets say videos of the incident do not show any weapon on the victim. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
Chapter 2: What happened in the Minneapolis shooting incident?
Thank God we have video because according to DHS, these seven heroic guys killed took an onslaught of a battalion against them or something. It's nonsense, people. It is nonsense, and it's lies.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, though, said that incidents like this, in her mind, stem from messages coming from state officials.
The Minnesota governor and the Minneapolis mayor need to take a long, hard look in the mirror. They need to evaluate their rhetoric, their conversations, and their encouragement of such violence against our citizens and our law enforcement officers.
And the victim has been ID'd as Alex Jeffrey Preddy, an ICU nurse. As the historic winter is heading toward the northeast, a winter storm, cities like D.C., Philadelphia, and New York City are going to be heavily impacted. Fox's Caroline Shively in Washington says that the snow hitting the ground is not safe to play with.
It's not good for making snowballs, but it's the stuff you want if you have to clear. It's going to move over to our wintry mix and then the freezing rain. That's the danger zone when it comes down wet and freezes as soon as it hits the surface. If that's going to be coating the power lines and the trees, we could be looking at some power outages.
And that's the danger zone because it is simply so cold here. We're not going to crack freezing until early next week. Now, the federal government is going to be closed. The federal offices, no one has to come in. They made that call. President Trump has already approved emergency declarations for more than 20 states for the folks who are already hit by this.
He says FEMA is ready, willing, and able.
And this storm will impact 240 million people across 40 states.
