Chapter 1: What are the latest developments in the war with Iran?
The war with Iran is getting costlier. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. As Iranian counterattacks have other Gulf countries slowing or stopping fuel production and shipping, the price of oil has topped 100 bucks a barrel for the first time since 2022, now at 103.
The president is calling for ships to have courage and to just sail through the Strait of Hormuz.
But Fox Business Network's Lauren Simonetti reports.
There is one ship that crossed the strait in the past 24 hours. And that ship, according to the folks at Kepler, is called the Rosanna. It was carrying corn, not oil. Since a fifth of the world's oil goes through that strait, you can see why gas prices are surging.

Still, the Iranians are getting fire off to the Gulf and here to Israel with more sirens overnight.

Chapter 3: What updates do we have on Israeli military actions in Iran?
Mostaba Khamenei, elevated to replace his father, was killed on day one of the war.
The 56-year-old has never held government office, nor has he given public speeches or interviews, but his behind-the-scenes influence has been rumored for years. It's believed he's close to the powerful Revolutionary Guard. And with little known about the direction he plans to take his country, his elevation represents confidence.

We expect an update this hour from New York City's mayor and the NYPD in a terror investigation stemming from a weekend protest.
The NYPD located a suspicious device and safely removed it. That device was found inside a vehicle believed to belong to two suspects now in federal custody.

Chapter 4: What security concerns have arisen in New York City?
Two of the devices were ignited and thrown during dueling protests near Gracie Mansion, where New York City Mayor Zora Mamdani lives. Thankfully, no one was hurt. But we've learned from high-level sources that one of the devices contained a powerful explosive known as TATP.
And also inside the devices is shrapnel, nuts, bolts, and screws. With Homeland Security funding still held up in Congress by Democrats who demand immigration enforcement reform, essential workers at DHS are not getting paychecks. And some aren't showing up, like at TSA Airport Security, leading to long lines and warnings for people to show up very early for flights.
Some travelers getting stuck in massive lines four hours long in some places, including Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte and New Orleans. Some even missing flights. Homeland Security taking to X to blame Democrats for failing to fund DHS, leading TSA employees to be forced to work without pay. and resulting in absences and crippling staffing shortages.
Chapter 5: How is the government shutdown impacting TSA operations?
Congressional Democrats demanding immigration enforcement agents wear body cameras, remove face coverings, and obtain arrest warrants. Republicans say face coverings protect agents from doxing or worse. Sue Guzman, Fox News.
Before the Live Nation antitrust trial resumes this morning, a settlement to end it. The Justice Department working that out with Live Nation, which owns Ticketmaster and is accused of operating in a legal monopoly, driving up ticket prices.
