The Ministry of Energy and Mines says the country's electoral system has been disconnected and they are investigating. Residents in many cities are venting frustration against the Cuban regime for poor living conditions. And in one city, protesters trashed the office of the Communist Party, throwing rocks at the building and some setting it on fire. President Trump is hoping this will all lead to significant change. The Cuban regime is signaling to the United States that it is open for business. No surprise, President Trump's point person on this is Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rubio says the status quo in Cuba is unsustainable.

The board of directors of the Trump Kennedy Center has voted to shut down operations for two years after this summer's Fourth of July celebrations. President Trump has cited the need for repairs as the reason for the closure, though several artists have canceled planned performances and several staffers have resigned.
