Have you ever wondered what's actually happening inside your body as you age? Not just the wrinkles or the gray hair, but at the deepest, most fundamental level, what's really breaking down. Because the truth is aging isn't just about time, it's about damage. And one of the biggest drivers of that damage is something called oxidative stress. A process that quite literally disrupts the function of your body at the cellular level. But what if we could do more than just slow down that damage? What if we could actually help the body repair itself at the level of proteins where the function begins? Today's guest is at the forefront of a completely different appro approach to health and longevity. Rowena Gates is a VP of the NGII Corporation, the company behind the Nano V device, which is a technology designed to support the body's natural ability to repair damage caused by oxidative stress, not through drugs or supplements, but through bioenergetic signals that interact with water and protein structure in the body.
This is a conversation that sits right at the intersection of physics, biology, and the future of medicine. What she's describing could fundamentally change how we think about aging, not as an inevitable decline, but as something we can actively influence at its core. So today we're diving into what oxidative stress is really doing to your body. Why protein function may be the key to health span? and how a technology like Nano V could reshape the way we approach recovery, performance, and longevity itself. So this is a fascinating conversation with Rowena Gates. Let's dive in. Well, Rowena, thank you so much for being with us today. You're just an amazing person. So thanks for for being with us today.
Pleasure to be here.
So I'm always curious. I mean, first of all, Nano V is amazing and this technology is amazing, but your story and how you ended up where you are is also equally amazing. So could you share a little bit about, you know, what led you into this path and how did you end up being the CEO of of this company and How'd you end up where you are?
So I fell into this path. I'm a lifelong entrepreneur. Essentially I've I've pretty much only done entrepreneurial ventures since nineteen ninety five, which was internet based e commerce, which was kind of early. And I was I'd sold a company, I'd worked for them for a couple of years and I was gonna take some time out. And I said that I would help my partner, Han Zang, who's actually the CEO, but that's uh he's the innovator with this technology. And before he started to work on this technology, he was working in the health field. And I helped him out with some things and I got hooked because it really helped people.
