Chapter 1: What does 'Hambag' or 'Handbag' reveal about pronunciation quirks?
What do you mean, man?
I'm a face sleeper. Handbag instead of handbag. Hi! Welcome back to your Monday episode. Happy Monday, guys. Hope you enjoyed the show on Saturday. Did you have a great time? How was it? Oh, were we funny? Did you enjoy yourself? Are you enjoying yourself? I hope you did. Actually, can't wait. Can't wait to see all your pictures.
If you've got pictures or videos for the night, then send them to us and tag us. Yeah, absolutely.
I always get butterflies out of the show because I'm like it's never something you can plan right we can obviously have ideas in our head like this would be a good idea for a game we know what we're wearing we know what the theme is blah blah but you don't know the main thing which is what are the audience going to be like also we are not the ones to script a show I know that a lot of people they like the knowing what you're doing and what you're saying so many podcast shows have a full script we have none I watched the
uh i am alex or this is alex call me alex yeah that was it which is uh call me daddy podcast call her daddy call her what does fucking mom mean call her daddy call her daddy whatever father um see the amount of people that she had working on her show now i am not saying like she is the top Female podcast, right? She is light years ahead of us, right?
100%.
But the amount of people that she had working on the show, which I went, a live show is a live show. I was watching it out of sheer nosiness. Her show was scripted to a T. Really? As in every, like, as in going, Alex, I think you need to pause here. Hold that laugh a little bit longer.

Chapter 2: How do the hosts feel about their recent live show experience?
And I'm like... But what if they don't laugh? What if they don't laugh at that bit and you're just pausing for so, so long? She has it all on auto cue.
I think that there would be influential audience members that would pull the vibe in. So I think that for that kind of thing, they would probably have certain people like, say, for example, our friends and family, who, by the way, have no idea what's even happening with the show. My mum actually said to me, what have we to wear? And she told me what she was wearing. I was like, no, no, no, no.
Let's go more detective-y.
LAUGHTER
And she was like, all right, okay. Get a trench coat. I was like, that's giving wedding. We're going for detective. And she was like, all right, fine. So they don't really know what's going on.
But I reckon for someone like Alex Cooper would have like her team, some of them probably sit in the audience so that then when something funny happens, they know that it's the cue to laugh or to shout out or I bet they have like people planted within the audience that kind of change the vibe.
That's a full theatre performance at that point. I didn't get that from the thingy. Oh, secret service. But it was very much like, when you're saying that word, take that over three beats. Yeah. It was very, very like, this is the joke and this is how you're going to lead into it and whatever. And I'm watching it going...
we don't do any of that her pod is so different to ours though like it's not I don't think her podcast is as conversational as ours like I've listened to quite yeah but see if she's got like for example Hayley Bieber on she's got her set questions I don't think Alex really she doesn't really deviate too much she lets the speaker speak do you know what I mean because she wanted to step away from so when she first had it
it was her and her co-host yeah and basically crack started to show once they got signed by barstool they then wanted they took them on for three years they then wanted to take them on for another one year alex said yes and was it sofia said no and basically she's probably kicking herself now yeah but sofia there's a lot to that so sofia said she wanted to negotiate the terms a bit more and alex was like no i wanted to accept the terms but

Chapter 3: What are the differences between scripted and unscripted podcasts?
We've literally not even spent that much time together because the show is in like four days and we've not been together. I know. It's not the detox. It's more that we've ran out of wordspine.
but that happens even after like today we're obviously recording a lot of episodes and we will drive home today in silence yeah possibly probably not actually we've got a lot to do you're going for your flight I'm going for my infusion going for the iron so I'll be a whole new woman
the following week I can't wait for that do you know so I've been talking to Abby Draper so she's the exact same going through the whole thing with like the iron situation not able to get an infusion off the GP blah blah blah and she'd recommended that I go to this place and she's just had it done so she's like she'll be like two weeks is she ill?
she was ill for like three days that's why I was like but she said it wasn't as bad as you would expect but she said what is the illness though is it like iron down yeah it's like flu symptoms for like three days it probably can't be any worse than some days that you feel like shit yeah well that weekend there I literally couldn't move I was absolutely burst so yeah I'm buzzing for it but see when you actually look at all the symptoms of different things and it's like anxiety I'm like oh my god that'll explain my some days I'm like oh I feel I'm so anxious for absolutely no reason yeah
So yeah, can't wait to be a whole new person. That's exciting. That is buzzing.
I feel like a whole new person after my scenario at the weekend.
What was that?
I know we're going back in time now, but I've not spoke about it anywhere apart from you guys on WhatsApp. My not being able to speak situation.
Oh shit, yeah.

Chapter 4: How do the hosts compare their podcast style to others?
Grabby? Oh, I don't know.
Grabby is the trampoline park there. It's now called Grid.
It's called Grid. What a bitch name. Rejected. That is rejected. It's not approved by anyone.
can we talk about the Hayley Bieber phenomenon that is going on now just generally everyone loving Hayley I love how the tables have turned in her favour I like that she's having her built a multi-million pound brand apart from that though there's no personality
oh i love her personality what is her personality though she's just a nice girl she seems like very nice very caring like the way that she's basically guided justin bieber through this whole like bad episodes that he's had for the last maybe like two years she actually put a post on after coach ella saying nobody knows the amount like what what we had to do behind the scenes for this to happen yeah because he was so broken broken and then they've had to like guide him through
all his therapy everything to get him back to being able to perform which by the way is it weird to wear um merch of like an event you didn't go to because i saw a t-shirt on tiktok right and you know what i just thought nothing makes me happier than this one picture of justin bieber and it's the wee moment where he's singing um daisies and it's like closer and closer and it was just a photo of his face and i was like i would wear that for the dopamine hit
see just to have Justin's face and just every now and then look in the mirror and be like oh you did it you got through it but yeah Hayley Bieber all her makeup love it cannot get enough of it literally just ordered more yeah I didn't actually get any of it but Ella went to Sephora at the Trafford Centre and that's what she wanted she wanted the road glazing milk and she wanted the pocket blush and she got the two of them and she absolutely and do you know what see the way she did like her wee makeup with it it looks so nice I've never once looked at her and went
it's a bit much the way she does her makeup the way that I used to go like Pat Butcher do you know what I mean it's not the style now is it it's not the style and I just go do you know what if that's kind of like who my wee girl aspires to be like like even the clothes that's a bit of a style icon like the way she like kind of carries herself I'm not mad at it yeah she's a she's I just like her
um i actually love my i feel like the two brands that i want to buy makeup from these days is vive and road the two of them have the perfect vibe and i'm like everything that you put out there i want yep do you know what i mean and then all my other stuff i'm like it's time for you to go it's time for you to leave now but yeah the roads um the road eye patches get a very good review i can hold out the word now the justin bieber ones were sold out we really want to spend that amount on

Chapter 5: What challenges do the hosts face with audience engagement?
I see sentences.
And spelling Be good And a tick And a see me See me after class Or not a see me because then you wouldn't get a star No I'm not into wearing the patches out But I do like the process I just love the home bargains ones to be fair Guys I don't want to be a whistleblower I'm so sorry to say it My mum went and got loads of stuff And she got the Grace and Stella Is that what they're called?
The Grace and Stella eye patches Guys, I do fear they might be the same as the gold ones from Home Bargains.
What's Grace and Stella?
That is a brand on TikTok and you can literally get like 50 sets of these jelly eye patches for like £25, for example.
I do think the most de-puffing thing of them is the fact that they're cold. So I don't think it would be hard to replicate. I actually think you could probably reuse them, put them back in water and put them in the fridge and then just stick them on your face because it's the coldness that's de-puffing you. Yeah.
yeah do you know what why is nobody come up with like a glasses or something like that for the morning what do you mean like imagine like a pair of glasses that you leave in i know you can get like um the pack the eye mask and stuff like that but why is them they come up with like glasses or something that just sit all down here on your face but you can still do stuff with because i love those eye patches but they're quite wet so sometimes if you lean forward they fall off yeah
it's the same with like the medikube masks right i always go right i'm going to put that on tonight and then see by the time i've had my shower and that i say i've had it early and i think right i've got the four hours to sit and really let it soak in and then i go but i still need to have my dinner yeah and i can't eat with that on no you can't i wear it overnight in my bed
I move about too much I'm a face sleeper no overnight in my bed I wear it and it is honestly see that feeling of taking it off in the morning it is fantastic but you know it's another really good eye patch brand to try I don't know if you've ever had these ones see the Rehab London eye patches they're very good very good and they're not they're more like stickers like the road ones they're not jelly patches so they actually stick on like a plaster almost apparently very good apparently

Chapter 6: How do the hosts navigate personal health discussions?
You still don't know. I still don't know. I think so much time has passed that we need to put this out here.
No, I tried to look it up. I did try to look it up. Her name was Ashton. Right, there you go. Ashton?
Ashton, was it Boyle or Boyle?
Ashton, please, you need to know.
Aileen will never rest. I feel like whenever we find out what his name actually was, Aileen will actually go, oh my God. I just feel like a whole different person that's been on my shoulders for so long. Actually, the iron problem might no longer be a thing. Maybe it was just not known whether it was Boyle or Boyle or Boyle.
how awkward though if you if someone said something you're like I can't say that now because I don't know what you're saying I know I don't know how to say that in my accent see if I don't know what someone said and I ask them to repeat it and they repeat it and I just I absorb the sound and in my head I'm really really quickly replaying it replaying it replaying it trying to make sense of what they've said see if I ask them again and I still don't understand it
I'm not going in for the third. It's actually, you have maxed out at that point.
How many times? Two times, yeah. Sorry, say that again and then you go, okay.
And then I go, ah, uh-huh, yeah. And I just do a generic response. They could literally be saying, do you want to give me 500 quid? And I'd be going,
