On YouTube, the trailer is dubbed episode five, but the actual trailer says in the weeks ahead, a phrase we've seen before. So we have less idea of what's coming specifically in episode five, but plenty of clues as to what's coming in general, without necessarily knowing which episode. So that will be how we focus our review today. Uh but that said, we do have some stills from episode five, and stills can tell a lot. So we're not completely in the dark on which scenes are in which episode. So we do have something to work with there. Either way, we're gonna take a closer look at Fire and Blood to help us guess where some of these plot lines are headed. In some c cases, Fire and Blood will steer us in the wrong direction because the show is doing its own thing.
But we do this every week, and you know, they still have a lot in common, even as they do. Diverge in significant ways. So that's how it works. That's how we do it. If you're new here, as I always say, there's spoilers here, as there always are in our preview episodes, but no leaks. Let's get right to it. Since we aren't doing anything specific, like I said, too much with the major plot lines is what we're gonna try to steer away from. I would really like to see more of the other characters, and I think that's what we can expect. Episode four. Already showed us that. And episode four was a response to what they had done in episode three, which is, well, they focused on Rainier quite a bit, which really necessitated expanding to get back to seeing what the other characters were doing, while of course, keeping Rainier very much centered.
We expect more of that from episode five, but a little bit more, if not a lot more, in terms of picking up momentum and pacing, I think will be. Faster as we have more scenes to cover. It looks like there's a lot of different characters and locations are spreading out. And we also are very sure that there isn't a big battle this next episode. And that is also kind of our collective theory, me and a Shea, we're talking about that ahead of this. Like, that's almost certainly why they showed a bunch of battle scenes, so that the wider audience, the less dedicated, no matter what type fan. Fans continue to be hooked. It's like, look, battles are coming. Not next time, but battles are coming. Anyone watching a preview episode is almost certainly going to be watching no matter what.
So you don't need to be excited by the trailer. There, the tra that trailer may not have been meant for you or us in general. That doesn't mean we can't learn from it though. Just an idea of all the plot lines going on, some of which really have been barely developing, or some we're not really sure about, some which are very clearly in play. Obviously, Tumbleton. And of course, in some cases, there's a lot more than one plot going on. Like Tumbleton itself is more than one plot. Kristen Cole and Gwen, their March, Alice and Eamond, which by the way, we have the egg on screen, Ashaya's got. This is one of the most tantalizing shots we've gotten from all of the trailers. We continue to wonder, where did that egg come from?
Did Vagar lay a new egg, or is she gonna lay a new egg? When is that gonna happen? This could be as soon as next episode. I'm thinking not because he's still, you know, missing, probably still recovering, you know.
