What is the overall premise and purpose of this House of the Dragon preview episode?
There are two episodes remaining in season three, and the trailers are kept intentionally vague. That's not abnormal. Big things usually happen towards the end of the season, and they don't want us to know what they are. And they also want us to really think about what those things might be. Even when we include the still unseen trailer shots from earlier in the season, it doesn't clear up a whole lot. We add in this week's stills. Eh, doesn't do much there either. So given a wide range of possible outcomes across well, all the plot lines, really, we turn evermore to fire and blood. Which plot lines will link up to the book? And of the ones that don't, what comes next? They have to be included somehow.
There's a lot to guess at, a lot to figure out, all that and more on this preview of episode seven of House of the Dragon on history of West. Podcast. Hello and welcome everybody. I'm Aziz. With me is Asheya. We do these preview episodes on Fridays at 5 Eastern to talk about what's coming next on House of the Dragon. We do not discuss leaks, we only include stuff from Fire and Blood, trailers, interviews, fan speculation, our own speculation, etc. So that's how we do it. And we also review everything. Every episode on Mondays at six Eastern without spoilers. So that's fun. There's a lot to talk about. Our episodes have been getting increasingly longer because the plots are getting bigger and there's a lot of disconnection, but still enough connection to talk about the other plot lines and how they connect.
So it's been really fun. This season, I think a lot of us have considered the best so far of the three. And hopefully it finishes. That way. Hopefully it finishes strong. Let's talk about that and what we expect from this next one and the last one as well, a little, because well, some things will happen in this one and in the last one, we're not always sure which is which. Let's get to the actual trailer. And then move on to various little tidbits, different plot lines that I've selected to speak on today. The trailer begins with this shot. It's a cool shot of the dragon pit, but it's Amon's voiceover saying a new dawn is coming, a new line of unsullied kings. And of course he's talking to Alice, though he might also be talking to his mother, because of course Alicent is going there. There's definitely shots of Alicent there. We'll see that in a minute. Uh, Amon is practicing with his sword. I mean, we've been seeing these him practicing with his sword with that bandage on since the beginning of the season. And we know we knew why he's had the bandage for several episodes now.
So yeah, it doesn't show us much at all. Still healing, I suppose. There's a shot. There's several shots here. We don't even have to see some of them go by so quickly, and they don't tell us very much. We got Rainier just drumming her fingers. I mean, that could be anything. We have Gwane and two riders returning to Tumbleton from I doubt they went far because the army's nearby. In fact, it's not unlikely related to that. Maybe just scouting. That's my simplest, most basic guess. Aegon is in firelight, sitting quietly, sitting up slowly. I mean, what does that tell us? So we know sunfire's coming back at some point, so maybe that's related, but yeah. Then we have my queen, we've seen something strange. It sounds like Adam speaking.
And we have Adam and Baylor at a village, and Adam turns to see something as they're speaking, and they're almost certainly looking for Vagar, and it could be Vagar, but Sheepstealer is in the trailer. So it could be Sheepstealer, and it could be Sunfire, since we just spoke of that and we know Sunfire is coming. I don't expect it's Sunfire, that seems unlikely, but we gotta throw that out there as a possibility.
