Connell Barrett 1:04
And I wanna help you stop freezing. And know exactly the right thing to say and do to get the best win win result with that given woman. And if you don't get the result, that's okay too. That's part of dating. We don't always win, but as long as you're taking action, that's all that matters. Here's a quick story. Many years ago. I worked with a really good coach. His name is Alex. Australian dude. And I remember I used to always go to Alex, he would help me with approaching women. And we were in gosh, we were overseas somewhere. I think we were in Stockholm. I went to Stockholm, Sweden to work with Alex many moons ago to go approach women. And I used to always say, What do I say? What's the right thing to say?
Connell Barrett 1:55
What's the right thing to do? There's two or three two or three women over there. What's the right thing to say or do? And he always tried to keep it simple for me. And at one point he was so frustrated not frustrated. But he was Trying to help me. And he said in his really Thick Australian accent. Oi, mate. It doesn't matter what moves you make. All that matters is you make and moves. And I still quote him, it's I'm really quoting his accent, impersonating his accent more than the words. But there's a lot of wisdom there. It's really easy to get stuck in your head about well, what's the right thing to do? And Alex's point was, well, there's no way to know with 100% certainty what the right move to make is.
Connell Barrett 2:44
All that really matters is that you do something. He who hesitates is lost. He who hesitates Stays a virgin. He who hesitates doesn't approach. So we want to take decisive action, play to win. And uh let the chips fall where they may. He said, mixing metaphors. So don't get me wrong, I want you to make intelligent, smart choices with flirty moves. quote unquote moves, chances. The philosophical essence of what Alex told me is important. I'd rather you make an imperfect move where you just try something rather than not approach her at all or not even try to go for that first kiss or not talk to that woman at the gym. But that said, you do want to make The most intelligent flirty move. Bottom line is, I'm gonna give you, I'm gonna go through eight common scenarios where single guys tend to freeze up.
Connell Barrett 3:43
And Let's just do it one at a time and no matter what you do. Doesn't matter what moves you make. All that matters is you make and moves. And here we go. So situation number one, you're on a first date. And you want to go for the kiss? But you are afraid she is gonna turn the cheek and reject you. Супер коман, рай. Unfortunately, women don't Hold up a sign that says, Okay, you may now kiss me and I will not reject you and I'll kiss you back. If only dating was that simple. Um well here's what not to say. Don't say this. Can I kiss you? Don't get me wrong, I'm all about consent in every part of dating, but there's just something n unsexy about a guy asking permission to go for that first kiss. It's also the way you say it.
Connell Barrett 4:41
You don't want to say, Can I kiss you? in that. Please is it okay now? You don't want to sound like some time travelling uh knight from medieval times. Milady, might I inquire if I can put my lips upon yours? Now, just say this instead. Look her in the eye and say I've been wanting to do this all night.
