And listen, the sample size is, I mean, it's 1,100. and twenty two young people between the ages of thirteen and seventeen and two thousand three hundred and seven adults. So not tiny, but also obviously this is not the census. It's a pretty It's a
pretty standard sample size, I would say. Like anytime that I've looked into when they do those polls about like who are you voting for in the next election? They're usually around 2,000 people.
Yeah, it's it's a it's a good it's a good sample size. But misogyny, we've all noticed it's gotten worse. And it was really validating reading this summary of the report as well as other parts of the report because it just validated how I guess the overarching message that I want us to remember Is that misogyny is so readily dismissed as not being bigotry. Misogyny is so easily accepted as this is a normal part of society. That's not misogyny. That's just normal. That's not why is everything misogyny to you, people say to me? And I go, Because it literally is, because patriarchy is baked into our society. And same with racism. You know, white supremacy is baked into our society as well, particularly here in Australia.
Yeah. So This just proves that misogyny isn't its own individual thing that is seen as normal and is seen as separate from or that exists in the behaviors as separate from racism, transphobia, homophobia. Misogyny is bigotry. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
