To another episode of the Keeping Carlson Fantasy Podcast, the longest running fantasy podcast in the world, hosted by two guys who, at least Brian, I can say for myself, really enjoying the discourse online and on Twitter of really big fans of teams that have hurt feelings whenever anyone even makes the smallest like prediction that their team might not win a playoff series. Very entertaining for me. I'm here, Steelon Dubrovsky with me to do a little bit uh step away from the playoffs because we're a fancy. Podcast. We're looking at, you know, projecting for next season. We're doing to do a little season in review for the next couple of episodes. So with me to look at some of the biggest surprises and disappointments from this past season, it's the fantasy hockey robot, the Pooh Bot Prognostication, the IPP MVP himself, Brian Cobb.

Hey, I'm good. Thanks for asking. It's been uh I mean, we did this I think a week ago on the mic for our patrons, uh, but now we're doing it for the for the public. By the way, if you wanna join in, uh like you can still become a patron over the summer. Even an annual discount. We're still gonna have fun. You're still gonna get your classic your classic mix of info andtainment, but um we're gonna we're we're dialing it back, I think, uh the intensity just a little 'cause we have the time. We have the whole off season. We have to cram everything that's happened in the last seven days into the next a hundred and twenty minutes. We've got time. We're gonna use it.
Okay. I liked everything you said there. You threw in an ad for us right off the start. You made a good excuse about if it's not, you know, detailed enough, it's because we have the whole summer. It was great. No, you got it all out there. Okay. So everyone listening, you're warned. But no, this is gonna be a good one, I think. Uh I will say the what I was referencing before, my favorite Brian was a person on Twitter, one of the beat writers was predicting, you know, the second round. Which is like they all do, right? You know, each series and who's gonna win and how many games. And someone had like Carolina and four. And I saw a r s there was a response of just like from Flyers and I was like, you know, that's like just so disrespectful, like to everything the Flyers have accomplished this season.
Like, yeah, maybe they're not gonna win the series, but to p say like they're gonna get swept like just the most and the beat writer was like, I don't know, it's my prediction. Like, you know, you're like I just and then it's yeah, so I always I just kept that in my mind and then like Yeah, Carolina swept Philly and I'm having a lot of fun with the hockey playoffs because I guess what I'm saying. But this episode, like Brian said, we're gonna look back. Uh the plan is we're gonna go through each team over the course of a couple episodes, Eastern Conference today. And for each one, Brian and I we haven't even discussed this. It's gonna be we're gonna surprise each other, see if we have any matches. We're each gonna say for each team the biggest positive surprise, fantasy-wise, a player that you know no one was expecting enough from, or maybe wherever they were drawing.
