Chapter 1: What thoughtful Mother's Day gift did Dalton give Laura?
So this problem has been with us through the ages. Shut up.
People were asking about this in the 1800s and we still are.
We haven't solved the problem of the bridesmaid.
Hello. Hi. How are you today? I am swell. Cool. Have a quick update. Great. So we had a possum man come and we found the hole that the sugar gutter came out of and it was behind the TV, which makes sense now why it was running towards the TV. It was trying to find its way back into the roof of the house. and they put a little thing there. Anyway, they've done it.
There's this contraption that basically any possums that are in there, because they sleep in your roof in the day, they will be able to get out, obviously. Wait. Are you catching the possums? No, no, no. So they leave the house. Yep. And they can't get back in. So no new possums can come in. Perfect.
But the possums will go out for their activities because they're awake at night and then they'll come back and they'll be like, oh, I can't get in.
And they can't get in the roof either anymore?
No. Yes.
Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They can't get in the house or the roof.

Chapter 2: What update does Steph provide about her sugar glider situation?
Great. Perfect. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you're not housing possums anymore.
No, exactly.
Also, just a reminder for anyone that missed the last episode, it wasn't actually a possum.
It was a striped bladder, which is a very cute little mouse-like thing.
Maybe a little bit bigger than a mouse.
Definitely bigger than a mouse. But anyway.
Okay, well, that's awesome to know. I'm very happy to hear no more sugar glider stories for you.
Thank you.
Now, I have to ask you. Okay. So this is a very different thing for me to be wearing today. Yes. Okay, now, for everyone listening, I bought this outfit two years ago and I missed the return. I hate that. time.

Chapter 3: What historical book from 1878 does Laura discuss?
Keep your ideal restful response always in mind's eye when you realise how much more attractive to the male eye... The male gaze.
Oh, my goodness.
This aspect is when you're nervous, fidgety, jumping one, you'll find it easy to put yourself through the paces necessary to acquire the calm you desire. You feel infinitely better when you get eight hours sleep. You know this.
This is your immediate reward if you require a reward for perhaps giving up a late party occasionally or forcing yourself to go to bed when you feel that you'd rather sit up and finish that... And finish that absorption of how, what is it, that absorbing story you've started. The realization of how much better, also guys, the words are so small.
The realization of how much better you'll feel tomorrow should be a reward enough. Your calmer, steady nerves, brighter eyes will endow you with charm and you'll gradually achieve the restful personality that is normal for any person.
Perfectly healthy woman to have. Isn't this insane?
Lindsay and Steffi, give me your thoughts. Wow. Wow. I mean, like, yeah. I mean, we know. I mean, things like... ADHD symptoms, which sounded like a lot of those things, like that didn't literally exist for women until, I don't know, was it like 40 years? I don't know. It was not that long ago that women actually started getting diagnosed.
It was men and boys, and then they started to see it in girls a little bit ago, but it was still only a childhood thing, and it was very underlooked at. So it's just, it's no surprise to me, but it's also like just... I think you just have to laugh, unfortunately, at, like, how fucking barbaric that is. Barbaric. Linz, what do you think?
Yeah, it just makes me sad to think of women living in this time, like how limited their lives must have been.

Chapter 4: How do beauty standards from the 1800s compare to today?
We have got blue-eyed Kayla Jade on. We sure do. Who you may know from TikTok or Instagram. I love her content so much. She's such a good storyteller. Anyway, her book is out and we are asking her a lot of questions in that episode. It is a very good, juicy episode. Highly recommend listening to it.
And then we will be back on you tomorrow, Wednesday, and then back with a Monday episode next Monday. Love you guys. Bye. Bye.
