What's up everybody and happy ninth anniversary to kind of funny games daily. As of today, Friday, June 19th, 2026, it has been nine years of daily video game news coverage at kind of crazy nine years, nine years. I remember, I remember episode one. Isn't that crazy? I do too.
I very, very clearly remember when this show was hosted by Greg, Andrew and Daniel Dwyer.
Yeah. And me. We just didn't market me that well because that was at the point where I was just like, let's just not talk about Tim.
You know what I mean? We're going to put up a Daniel Dwyer. We're going to sideline Tim. That's hilarious.
But man, isn't that crazy? Of course, I'm Tim Yates. I'm joined today by Blessing Adeoye Jr. The two people that I think have hosted the show the most.

Three-year head start on me, I think.
Okay, so maybe I'm wrong about this. You know what's funny? I'm accounting for his paternity leave, but now I had one too. So now I probably dropped in the ranking significantly.
But I remember I had a... Top three is definitely me, you, and Greg. 100%. I'll probably guess Greg, me, you. Well, I guess for those... You also had a year's head start on me. Yeah, but then the paternity leave. I don't know.
That's only like three months, though. I know, but you, I think, had to host even more than normal during that three months. But I don't know. It's been a crazy nine years. Yeah. A lot of new stories. What are some of your favorite moments of the last nine years? Favorite moments? I've got it. You know what sucks? I can't think of anything good. Like which layoff, which studio closure, which acquisition. Honestly, it is the moments of the breaking news during us talking about news. So it's like, that's usually bad things, but like sometimes it's not necessarily a bad thing.
What anniversary and show intro sets the tone for this episode?
It was just a crazy thing. Like when E3 got canceled, when Sony pulled out of E3, very sad, but not like that sad that we're talking about stories, you know, these days, you know, does anything come into your mind?
Favorite moments. Um, I mean, KMGD 3000, I feel like covered so many. In the early years, there was an episode with Gary Whitta and Jared Petty where it was just entirely off the rails. The first time they did that, I thought was fantastic.
Yeah.
Third time, it's like, all right, guys. All right, guys. Wrap up the show. Come on. I'm professional now you know what I'm talking about so that was fun one that always cracks me up that I think about all the time that no I feel like I was hosting with Greg Greg I don't think laughed at all at this moment I thought it was one of the funniest things where I'm reading you're wrong and we're talking about one of those games where it's like you have to tidy up your room and And I read the, you're wrong. Cause they were like, oh, the feature is called the daily tidy, but I misread it as the daily titty. And I was like, why is it the daily titty? And then I think some, I think I just reread it. And I was like, oh, daily tidy.
I fucking, that tickled me. I was dying. I don't think Greg found it funny, but I was, yeah, no, that was one that, that really stuck with me. I think about that all the time.
Yeah, I feel like the off the rails when we're just giggling games dailies are the best.
