Today, in the nerdy news you need to know about, Claire Obscure Expedition 33 was incredibly cheap to make. Rockstar issues a statement about their firings, and it's almost time for the Game Awards. We'll evolve this in more because this is Kind of Funny Games Daily.

I heard about the free weights yesterday. I listen to Games Daily. I heard the free weights have changed your life. I see it. I see it. Oh, you see it already? Already.

Chapter 3: What news about Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was revealed?
Well, I appreciate that. Happy Game Awards Day. Happy Game Awards Day. What a special day. Of course. What a brilliant. We got Supergirl. We got Game Awards. We're living out here. What are you most excited about for Game Awards? The unexpected is always, that's the, you know, I feel like that's always such a boring answer, but it's the truth where it's like, I feel like there's so many rumors.
There are so many things I've been pre-briefed on. There are so, you know, it's like, I feel like I don't even know what I'm allowed to say that I know is going to be there. But even that's like fine. It's like, it is more the, what don't I know? What is Jeff going to wow us with? How great is it going to be for me when Half-Life 3 shows up? And I get those points.
How confident are you in Half-Life 3? Less than 50 by a lot. Oh, less than 50.
Oh, yeah.
It's like, I think it makes too much sense. It makes too much sense of like, we're doing the Steam Machine. Why not talk about that and show and like... I don't expect it, but I want it.

Chapter 4: What are the hosts' expectations for the Game Awards?
You know what I mean? I want it. I mean, that's one of those ones where if you're able to announce Half-Life 3 with the trailer here, no matter the quality of the rest of the show, like we're talking about, I mean, that's a golden goose, right? Yeah, that's one of the best game awards even. You know what I mean? Like that's at least a 9 out of 10 at that point.
Yeah, yeah. And so from then on, yeah, it just becomes unexpected, right? What could Jeff have up his sleeve to really wow us tonight? What could it be?
I don't know. And I'm excited to see because I'm with you about the unexpected announcements. Yeah. I feel like so far for the things that we do know, I'm kind of like, cool. Yeah. Like Jonathan blows. There's going to be a new game from him coming out. Awesome. There's going to be a Tomb Raider tease the thing. Yeah. I don't think do we have any Tomb Raider super fans here?
I don't know if we have, like, any super fans.
No, super fans.
I think we all like it. We all like it. I really liked the reboot. I was big on that. We had Chris and Amex a lot on the old kind of funny set. Yeah.
Yeah.
And so we know that's coming. Divinity Original Sin 3.
Whatever new Divinity. Yeah. Divinity, right? That's their whole thing.

Chapter 5: What surprises could we expect at the Game Awards?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which is exciting.
There's been rumors of Diablo that they'll have something there. Cool. So I'm like, okay. Awesome. But again, sorry, who's going to get another trailer? I've had double seven. God, I was cracking up yesterday when you guys have we confirmed Rahul's voice. I'm like, I was like driving. I'm like, I think he's every one of them. Yeah, I don't I don't know.
It's been such a great year for games and then to get excited for next year. And what are they going to have? And I beyond beyond. Yeah. I mean, like, what's Jeff got up his sleeve?
I'm almost more excited for the awards just to see if like our predictions predictions are spot on as far as expedition 33 winning everything and what that's going to do to it being memed. Cause I think by the time we get to award number six or seven, like do they run out of speeches? Did they write enough speeches?
Yeah. How many people are there? How many people can go up?
What are they going to do? Yeah. Yeah, did they bring enough people where it's like, all right, you know, Timmy, you're going up now. All right, you know, Tommy, your turn. Timmy and Tommy. The names are probably more French than Gustave.
It's just the little tanookis from Animal Crossing going up.
Yeah, like I think that's going to be a fun thing of, yeah, six or seven times seeing them win. All right, cool. Thanks again, guys. All right, bye-bye. Okay, cool. Now we're making jokes about it on the internet. Yeah. I don't know. We'll see what we get into. We'll see who rushes the stage. We'll have a great time. Ooh. What do you think?
If somebody rushes the stage, what do you think they're saying this time? Is this the same Bill Clinton kid? I hope. Or is there a new cause? I hope nobody rushes. I hope everybody's safe. But honestly, I feel like there's not really any consistency as far as how they announce a Kingdom Hearts game or how they show off a Kingdom Hearts game. I hope it's here just for the hype of it.

order that yeah we could of course just do pizza it's tried and true i had a very i had a normal breakfast and then we had a double breakfast because it was like jen's like let's go get a cup of coffee it was like 10 30 and i'm like well we just ate but this will be my lunch too yeah so i didn't eat the full breakfast burrito so i'm gonna be hungry soon we're have a problem what you and me can set the tent where are we at as far as wings where would you get them from

Chapter 7: What are the implications of Rockstar's recent statements?
Yeah. The problem you always run into with wings, though, is that we're... I don't know how you feel about this. You're going to inevitably have to do boneless. Because people aren't going to want to go out there and then come back or go yum, yum, yum, yum on the street. Oh, I don't mind that. Oh, I guess I don't. Yeah, I guess I don't want to do that on the street. Nobody's going to eat.
The bones take so long. Whereas with little ones.
Yeah, I don't. And I don't mind a boneless wing here and there. Yeah. Oh, man. Buffalo Wild Wings. I missed it. That was a bad wrench into it. Because, yeah, those are the ones I would want.
Our bartender's still out of work. What do you mean? Me and Tim used to go to Buffalo Wild Wings every so often for like meetings where we just sit at the bar and catch up and do whatever. And our bartender was Omar and he was the fucking man. And so then when he was like, dude, I think they're closing us down this week. And I was like, holy shit, really? I followed him on Instagram.
And so then they closed him down. And so then I was, he was, Instagram was going to be, he'd keep us posted because he was thinking he might end up at Dave and Buster's and we're like, we'll just start going there. And then he's still unemployed, still no job. Oh, that sucks. Haven't closed a while too. Hire Omar. Exactly. Hire Omar. Hire Omar. What the fuck's wrong with everybody?
Pfft.
I digress. Yeah. Think about it. I'm not against pizza. Okay. I'm never against pizza. Yeah.

Chapter 8: What final thoughts do the hosts share before the Game Awards?
Then it's going to get the argument aware, though. We're in that section of our life. Yeah. Andy's going to want pie punks. Andy's going to want pizza. At that point, I need everybody to up your subscription. All right. We're getting that much pie punks. It's going to be a problem.
Ignacio Rojas super chats and says on my way to the game awards commemorating Greg's trending gamer win 10 year anniversary because someone has to wishing you were here Ignacio we could think of no one better to be down there to represent kind of funny for us although Barrett's there but I still think you're representing us better thank you for your support as always I hope you have a great time Barrett if you're watching this you have a package also can we open it
Barrett, let us know if we can open it. Because technically it's illegal, right? We just go in there. Oh yeah, if we don't. It's like in character, kind of funny. We're kind of funny. People in chat are asking who's against pizza. I'll be honest. I've been kind of against pizza. Mainly in the sense that we order pizza too much.
There was a week where we ordered pizza like three or four times in one week. And that's where I started becoming against it.
We are a company that loves pizza. And so it is very easy for just one person to say, what if we got a pizza today? And there's pizza in the office. You can easily overdo it, and then there's a Pizza Hut contingent.
The problem is that I'm lactose intolerant, and like many lactose intolerant people, I love eating lactose. Yeah, you put pizza in front of me, but then what that meant was that so many times that week, I'm just fucking bloated and not feeling good, and I just have no control over it.
Yeah, I respect that. I understand that. I respect that. That's a me problem. Again, this is a special pre-show, KFGD. I'm going to keep going through some of the super chats here, all right, because they're about this, right? Interjet stream says, hot take. Genshin and Wuthering Waves being in player's choice is a great reason we are only 10% of the voting power.
Not bad games, but mobile gotcha games?
Come on, y'all. Oh, yeah. I mean, it's a popularity contest for the player's choice thing. I will say, I do find it interesting that they don't add in, like, a the game has to release in 2025 thing. I feel like that would fix the entire player's choice thing when you look at the nominees. Because the other nominees are great. Yeah. I think, what, it's Dispatch, it's Clear Obscure.
