And my thing is just like, no, let me do it as a hobby. Let me go ahead and, uh, replicate the result over and over again and staying focused and not doing a lot of the other things that get you into confusion. Um, that will burn you out. Like stick to one thing, become a master of it. get that money, get yours, get the financial freedom, and then figure out where you want to go from there.

Why does Bonnie teach real estate 'as a hobby' instead of as a full-time obsession?
Before we get into the nitty gritty, you just wrapped up your day of filming your episode of Women in Power.

Awesome. What do you believe makes a powerful woman and why do you believe that is you?
So great question. I think that women in power, just the word power really has to deal with something that a woman can take and utilize to help the most amount of people, including yourself, you know, put your action mask on first, help your family, help your friends. And once you've mastered that skill, then go ahead and understand you have a duty to go ahead and translate that out to the masses on a large scale. So that's what I think is very powerful is taking the awareness of what you've figured out and what you've gotten results with to better, I guess, the lives of other people and literally leave it as a legacy.
Love it. You brought it right back to legacy. I got to ask, hobby and millionaire, is that something you see very common together? I know, right? What comes first, the chicken or the egg? Was it a hobby or were you a millionaire first? How did this work?
I teach people how to do real estate as a hobby because a lot of people are looking to quit that job. Whenever I was in college, because I came financially free at 23, first million at 26. Rock and roll. While I had my nine to five, I was actually building this portfolio on the side while going to college. I understand that people come to me because they also want to replicate and do those sorts of things. I want people to be able to do this as a hobby, do this as a family affair kind of thing too, start it in 30 minutes right away, get the results, replicate what I've been doing, and pretty much take it to the next level if they want. So I'm very happy if people are going from zero to five doors.
Or five to 500 doors. But I'd love for people to play the millionaire game. But I'm totally fine if they just do it as a hobby and then they can decide if they wanna take it up a notch.
