Yeah, listen, it's fantastic to be here. It's a great feeling for me to be in this position. I think I played different roles for this club and learned to fall in love with the club for so long. It's a massive part of my life and has been for so long. So I'm fully aware of the position I'm in in so many different ways. As well as that, I'm eager to succeed. We've got a big job to do.
It's an important job and it always is here to succeed. win games and to play well and to do it in a certain way. So there's one side of it is nice to be here, but the other side of it is focus, concentration and a real drive to improve the team and improve results.

Chapter 2: How has Michael Carrick's appointment affected Manchester United?

I always imagine people going to work and when you give out a one-unit play... A one unit play might be something that someone worked an entire day for.
Not everybody's going to have a six figure salary. Like some people may only be making a hundred bucks per day. So when you give out a one unit play and you're telling people, bet on this, take this lock. That person might have worked an entire fucking day to bet on your lock.
They shouldn't bet their entire day's wages on your lock because they should be managing their bankroll more sensibly than that. And maybe a lock for them should only be a half unit play. But some people will do that. And you have to take that into consideration. And you have to give a fuck about if that wins or not. And there has to be some level of transparency and accountability.
And that doesn't exist in the gambling industry. Too many people are fraudulent. And I felt it got to a point where it was hypocritical of me to be in bed with fraudulent people. So... That's the most I'm going to say about it on this episode anyways, because I want to just move on with the show. The show's late anyway because of this entire situation that came to a head today.
We begin things with the Manchester derby.
Since 2022-23 season, Haaland and Foden have scored 15 of the 17 Premier League goals that Manchester City have scored against Manchester United, which is absolutely phenomenal. If they promise me they will continue, they will play tomorrow.
So absolutely insane statistic there, stating that Phil Foden and Erling Haaland have scored 15 of the last 17 goals that Man City have scored against Manchester United. Haaland to score tomorrow is at 4-6 minus 1.50. Phil Foden is at a bigger price. He's available at 23 to 10. So it could be worth looking at those two. This is a very difficult start for Michael Carrick.
