My guest this week is Dr Wendie Trubow and she is as passionate about environmental toxin impact to people’s health as I am so it’s an animated deep dive. Wendie is particularly focused on helping women optimize their health and lives as a functional medicine gynaecologist. Through her struggles with mold and metal toxicity, late-diagnosis Celiac disease, and other health issues, Trubow has developed a deep sense of compassion and expertise for what her patients are facing. She is the co-author of Dirty Girl: Ditch the Toxins, Look Great, and Feel Freaking Amazing and has been regularly featured in MindBodyGreen and Huffington Post. She’s also a mother of 4, so if Wendie has figured out a way to make it all work and feel fantastic - then she’s a beacon for what’s possible.
