Everybody's coming on us. What the hell's happening? Our young people are going south? Forty three percent of Americans now have a positive view of socialism, making the first time this figure has exceeded thirty nine percent in Gallup's trend since twenty ten. Gallup has measured Americans' overall views of these five economic concepts, including capitalism and socialism. Periodically since twenty ten with the latest update conducted august third through twenty fourth. Over the long term, Americans have become less positive about most of the market oriented concepts, Gallup tracks. Since twenty ten, positive views of big business have fallen by fourteen percentage points, free enterprise by nine points, and capitalism by six points.
Small business is the exception. Most of the increase in socialism's positive ratings through twenty twenty five remains. reflected increasingly positive views among Democrats, rising from fifty percent in twenty ten to sixty six percent last year. The latest uptick, however, comes entirely from political independence, whose positive rating jumped from thirty seven percent last year to forty five percent. Now what is wrong with this folks? What's wrong with this? No, I will be criticized for my post and I'll explain that in a minute. What do they mean by Americans? We've had a massive flood. of migrants into this country since twenty ten, especially during the four years of the Biden regime. Massive. Millions and millions.
Many of them from the third world, many of them from socialist regimes. We look at what's going on. Minneapolis with Somalis. Eighty five, eighty seven percent of them on welfare. We look what's going on in Northern Virginia with Afghans, again eighty five, eighty seven percent on welfare. Well of course, depending on who they're polling, they support socialism. They government welfare. So I went into this and I looked and I went into the man th the means that they go through in order to conduct their survey. They don't define what they mean by Americans. Are they American citizens? That's what I would think, right? I mean they say they're Democrats and they're independents and so forth and so on, but if you call somebody on the phone and they say they call people on cell phones and on their landlines.
Are you a Democrat, Republican and so forth? They're asking them, what party do they identify with? What party do they identify with? You can be an illegal alien and identify with a Democrat Party or claim to be an independent or whatever.
