Chapter 1: What led to Wes Watson's potential legal issues?
His cell phone catches him.
Dan, your ground has disappeared at this point. Once you're charged, it's a problem. He could do a few years. So the whole thing kind of started with that the trolls were getting the better of him.
Actually, the one thing was, we rolled it right back. I don't know if you remember, you know who Jeff Nippert is? No. So Jeff Nipper is a science-based, you know, YouTuber, and he's got, you know, 4 million, 3 million, whatever, subscribers. He's had a beef with his other, not science-based lifter, and this guy used to do that.
It says, you know, he's outspoken, Mike Van Wyk, outspoken, big-ass dude, tattoos. You know, he used to, you know, he was a security for Drake. And anyway, incident happens. They're in the gym, you know, one too many times together. Mike walks by Jeff. Jeff sees him. Well, Mike goes and does his own thing. Mike, Jeff takes his care man and is like, come follow me. You see the video.
Like John Bravo covers all this. And I know this too. I know this too very well.
and then he goes up to him with his camera and mike's already told him like stay the hell away from me like he doesn't like him like jeff already knows mike does not like him and mike's one of the one of those around to find out type of guys right he goes up to him with his camera and then mike just gives him up you know to the basically like a throat push slash punch whatever
and then sends his kid flying, and then goes on again, pushes him again, yada, yada, yada. That blows up. He goes online. Jeff goes online, takes a picture of him getting a CT scan, you know, whatever. That was kind of sus. And so there's a big feud now about Jeff, you know, the, the, you know, this big, this big guy pushing this small guy and Mike's not apologizing.
So we have this, like everyone divided taking sides. So Mike's got all the people in the one side being like F round and find out, you know, I, I said, I was like, Oh, accountability, accountability. Everyone could have done something and not this happened period. So it's all happening. And then all of a sudden,
your boy uh what's his name um wes comments about it and he's like he puts me like so there's this guy named there's this guy you know i think jeff whatever and he's at the gym he f's around with this other guy big mike and mike hits me you know what he just got to do it's like he should he should actually beat he should have went even further you around you find out blah blah blah

Chapter 2: How did the fight at the gym escalate?
another video i can do and get more views right so that's going to end up being the next thought you show up we'll go outside right so he shows up he shows up he you know he puts his camera down we see him put his camera down he because he i even said i'm like this guy's putting his camera on they probably he probably took him up with his offer and lo and behold he literally did so he went there expecting to fight wes watson right now
you're an idiot like no one's fighting i said in my video no one's fighting anybody fair like those days are done and gone if you're gonna literally if you think that someone's gonna be like yeah man coming over and we'll fight like the olden days we'll duke it outside it's not gonna happen but he puts his camera down goes over he's like what's up man like let's do this and was and then that's when basically everything happens but if you actually watch the breakdown he pushes wes
And then he kind of backs up and then West takes off his belt and flashes at him. And I made a point about this because I broke this entire video down, like the whole video. And I'm like, after the, because he got beat up bad. It was like maybe like two, three minutes of like, that's a long beating. Right.
Like I'm talking 50 some odd punches, kicks, a dumbbell, a weight belt, hair pulled out of his head, like his dreads was pulled out of his head. Hopefully those are like, you know, I don't know, maybe there are extensions. Regardless, he got up after. As soon as it was done, he was literally right up. Obviously, his face got fucked up, whatever. We don't really see it. Do you see blood, though?
But he got up. And after watching that video, I'm looking in there, and I'm like, one time in my life it will happen. I got jumped once. I jumped more than once, but I got jumped by two guys. And one guy pulled out a police baton, and he hit me in the leg, right? Instantly. Instantly, I'm like, you're not serious.
And I just, you know, I got the, I got the, I basically beat him, actually beat him both up. I got the police ball in front of him, hit one guy right off of the guy. I'm literally like, just basically like punched him out. And that was it.
And I remember that being like, cause like where I'm from, I'm like, if someone's serious, they're not going to pull a police baton over anything and hit you in the fucking leg.
Right.
If they're serious, they're hitting you in the head and you're not getting up. Like, you don't remember, like, you know, and they're not going to announce to you that you're going to, you know, they're like, let's go fight. Let's go on the court. They lure me into, you know, chatting with them. Right. So I kind of, at that point, I'm like, something's going on. Maybe they want to jump.

Chapter 3: What are the implications of the video evidence?
Oh, I'm sure. It helps contribute to the environment that he was creating. Come down here. You got a fucking problem? Come down here. And they're like, look, this is who this person is.
Because he took it off. Let's take a couple of things off already, which he knows now.
He's already.
Yeah. Yeah. So like, and like, which is like, which is like, you know, use your fucking brain. Like, what do you like? Like for me, I'm, I'm always like, I'm always aware of my surroundings. I'm always aware. Like, there's like, who can see this? What's around? Like, what is my surround look like? There's no way this guy did that. All that. And it was like, yeah, I'm good.
Like, there's three different camera angles on the entire thing. Right. And violent. Like, I'm talking, like, when you watch it, there's not one part of that video that looks like, one part, the guy's guilty. He pushes him, and that's it. He walks up, he's like, so what's up, basically, and then gives him a push, and then that's it. And there's, like, there's a stall.
There's basically a little bit of a, you know, standoff for, like, 10 seconds, maybe, maybe, right? And then it gets, you know, whatever. So if with all the, when I see all the evidence that's there, him being already a convicted, you know, felon, I'm sure his records always stand. I was, I was seeing maybe two to three for aggravated assault when I was 18.
And that was, and that was defending my, actually defending myself from two guys. And I put them both, I put them both in a coma, like two, I've knocked them both out.
back when i was younger actually i was 17 i was turning 18 and i was they were trying to chime me as an adult um so i've got aggravated like the the highest kind of aggravated assault um and that's you know that's just myself in canada right canada's a little more has a little more leeway yeah a little leeway in the states so you know what i mean and you can like you and then the other top of that is like he can sue them on top of it so like that's a like that alone
Like, skip the charges. I'm suing your ass. Like, that alone. Because he definitely went to the hospital. There's definitely a hospital bill. I don't know if this kid's got, you know, insurance. Our insurance is free back home. Like, not insurance, but like, you know, you got to go to the hospital. Your tax pays for it.

Chapter 4: What are the possible legal outcomes for Wes Watson?
And, you know, you're spending all this money. It's funny because some of his initial things that he said when he got out of prison, the things he does now, let me put it this way. Like, he's never owned a business. So people will take him, they'll pay him for like business coaching.
Yeah.
For what? You've never owned a successful business. That's like, and listen, I've owned a construction company, a development company, a real estate company, and a mortgage company. And if you came to me and said, Matt, man, you've owned all these companies. You were super successful. I'd like to pay you. I'm not going to take your money because all the businesses that I own are
were based on fraud of some type. Every one of them contains some type of fraud. Now I'm not saying I can't do the books. I can keep the books. I can tell you where to spend your money. I can do those types of things, but I'm not gonna do that because it comes from a place where of course my businesses were successful. They were based on fraud. Fraud was my go-to.
They were always going to be successful. And I don't feel confident enough to give you advice and have you invest your money in me and the things that I say, because I can't say I've run a successful business, you know, unless you consider YouTube, but that's since I got out, you know, without it being, you know, based on some type of fraud. And so that's not right.
So for this guy to get out and be giving people business advice, like what are you doing? You're a drug dealer.
Yeah.
And apparently not a great drug dealer, not even a great criminal. And he's just gone. The more money he gets, you're renting a house. You're renting a vehicle. You're spending tons of fucking money. The stuff that it is an ego out of control. Luckily or unluckily, we have YouTube and we're getting to watch it. you know, unravel.
But I'm telling you right now, listen, years ago, you can watch my videos. We were talking back then talking about how it was going to unravel. There was no way he could continue to behave like this and not have it catch up to you.

Chapter 5: How does public perception influence legal cases?
And so every once in a while, luckily I have my wife with me, and every once in a while I'll meet a fan or something. They'll be like, oh my God, bro, I watch all your stuff. You're amazing. And I'll be like, amazing. Did you hear that? He said amazing. She'll be like, you're not all that. You know what I'm saying? Well, I'm lucky. Wes obviously doesn't have anybody in his life like that.
Yeah, yeah.
You have to have somebody to, you know, to yank the reins.
You do, but you're also, like, it's, like, I'm still going on that journey of, like, self-awareness and emotional intelligence or something. Like, I've been, that has been my 100%, my main priority for over a decade. And I can tell you that even for you saying this, it's it's not just like you need someone that's in your corner. The fact that you want to do it the first place, right?
Like it's like it doesn't matter. Yeah, it doesn't matter like how much how many people could be. You might have the you might have all the right people in this corner. I met some people that know Wes Watson that I talked to that, you know, swear that Wes is this and that and the other. And I'm like, you seem like a good cat. Right.
And, you know, maybe he has a lot of people like that in his corner, but he just, you know, it's up to that person. You have a level of self-awareness that majority people just do not have. Like that's like for me, like getting getting a car for me. was a massive thing because just for me, it was like freedom. I can now drive.
And I used to not have money to be able to buy a car, like a car, my first car, my mom co-signed for me. And it was a Hyundai Sonata. And I got, you know, my boy to put some, you know, some like, you know, subs in the back and shit. And, you know, I mean, couldn't afford gas or it was like gas. Sometimes there's only maybe 20 bucks a tank at a time.
And then the oil was never done because the car went kaput because it was never done because I couldn't afford getting the oil done. Right. So the car. So the car had for like a year. is now gone, right? My favorite analogy when it comes to like, when I talk about bodies and cars, I'm like, if you don't put oil in your car, the best car in the world, if you don't do it enough times, car's done.
Your body, you cannot give it food, the right oil, it'll still run. the body is a hundred percent efficient. The car is like 33% efficient. I got the analogy from my life experience of like, you know, I want a car. I'm gonna get a car. I can't afford the car now to have the car. The car is gone. Right.

Chapter 7: Can Wes Watson avoid charges through negotiation?
Chapter 8: What lessons can be learned from this incident?
I, I maybe still, maybe still going through, uh, you, you, you used to be able to just kind of go online and really pick up, you know, look for the police report transcripts and product and get it when it's, when it's been public, when it's released in public. But, um, I don't know.
Yeah. So I guess what is it? The gym, the gym owner. Yeah. Basically said or kicked him out. Did he? Somebody, I had seen that somewhere where the gym owner was basically like, yeah, you're not coming back here. Like he's cause the, the kid's probably going to sue the gym owner. Yeah. You know, you're going to throw that in there to try and get ahold of his, um,
yeah like it says it stays soon you're suing everybody you're suing you're suing right you're suing the gym owners doing west and all the buddies there you're suing the belt company for the for like why are you making belts they're so easily detachable whippable you know like i don't know like you can like i said you got a case for it if you got a case you're going to get a case for it and these you know like it's it's it's over like it's
That's that's that, you know, we watched in real time the dismantling of a fake Internet personality.
Yeah. I watched your interview, your breakdown of the Wes Watson thing.
Yeah.
You know, I've been a huge fan of his for years. So I don't know if you've ever I'm sure you haven't watched any of the videos, but my buddy and I, we've like. you know, just mock him, you know, because, because both of us had been like, I was in a media, a federal prison that was a medium security prison. And I was only there for about three years.
The rest of my time I did about nine years in a, in a low security prison, you know, not that things don't happen there, but it's not obviously probably more fights in the low. They're just less violent. And, and, And then my buddy has actually been in, I want to say he's been in two pens.
And, you know, and I look, I've interviewed enough guys and known enough guys and met enough guys that have been in pens. And all of them are just like, yeah, you know, you just don't behave like this in a penitentiary. I mean, nobody's going to allow you to behave like this. And I think we had talked about this as far as Wes is concerned.
