Often, our minds create expectations and judgments about how things should be, and when reality does not match those expectations, we can experience stress, anxiety, and other negative emotions. However, if we can learn to train our minds to accept things as they are, without judgment or attachment, we can find a sense of peace that is not dependent on external factors. Inner peace, in this sense, comes from within us and is not something that can be found outside of ourselves.
