States of emergency have been declared across the south and east as airlines cancel thousands of flights and road crews brace for treacherous conditions.

Critics warn the decision could weaken international disease coordination, while the White House says accountability comes first. TikTok will remain available to Americans after its parent company reached a deal to restructure ownership of the platform. Daily Wire senior editor Joel Needler explains.

Under the deal, a new U.S.-based version of TikTok will be created, with ByteDance retaining a minority stake of just under 20% and international investors owning about 80%.
