Chapter 1: How can you optimize your A+ content on Amazon?
How do you know if your A-plus content is as optimized as it possibly can be?
This question I get all the time as not every single person is a creative strategist. They don't know what the perfect level of design work is, and they also have some difficulty with their own brand guidelines at the end of the day.
You want to have a fine mix between your converting factors and just product details in general in that A-plus content, and this can get really, really granular for a lot of brands.
My name is Noah Wickham. I'm VP of Sales and Marketing here at My Amazon Guy. And thankfully, Amazon actually has came out with a new feature for this called the Content Quality Analysis. It's currently in beta under your A-plus content section, but you can check it out. Essentially, what it is, is this little section. It'll pull up any recommendations that they have.
You can see last assessed was about two months ago for this A-plus content. But essentially, when you're going into it, you can actually look at a detailed recommendation. It'll pop up here as well in ways to strengthen. Now, as with any feature from Amazon, the question is always going to be, uh, is this actually worth it? And is this something that you should be implementing?
I think the answer here is going to be the age old. It depends. And why does that depend on? Well, let's look at what they actually have from a detailed recommendations. We have an enhanced product scale visually. So basically current image images lack clear size reference.
I think that's kind of interesting to talk about when we're looking at any of this, because yeah, if you're looking at some of this, a plus content here on the left, It's not super apparent how actually large it is. Now, the question remains, is that something that needs to be in the A-plus content for a product like this? I'm unsure on that, right? So let's look at this next one.
Technical specifications. Current layout buries key specs in paragraphs. Create dedicated technical specifications section showing dimensions, material composition, and weight capacity. So this is an interesting one because this is something that one, you don't have weight on it.

Chapter 2: What are the new features of Amazon's Content Quality Analysis?
So it's not something that you're going to be putting weight on to. I don't think it really matters how large it is for most people, but it is something to think about. Potentially there are some reviews on that. And then technical specifications. I don't think people need to know, right?
So we have this built out in a way that is talking about the major things that people are thinking about, you know, shock absorbent, super quiet, durable material, right? These are what people tend to care about. But let's see what the other ones are. Improve installation process clarity. Installation steps are not clearly visualized. Add step by step installation guide.
with clear visuals for each stage. This reduces pre-purchase anxiety about proper application. Okay, so I think this is kind of interesting to be frank, but the biggest thing with something like this and a product like this, whenever we're looking at it, is that I would put something like this in your actual product photos. I would not use your a plus content necessarily.
Now you can reiterate it if you are getting a lot of returns because people aren't sure of how to actually apply and use the product. And especially for more technical sided products, this is actually probably a really, really good recommendation. I mean, these are the basis and the basics that you should have, uh, within any form of a plus content.
We next have demonstrate multi-service compatibility. Current content doesn't effectively show versatility. Create visual showcase of product used on different surfaces. Wood, metal, glass with clear results. Again, we actually have that within the product photo.
So if we look at this and we'll just pull up one of the listings here on every single one of those listings, we actually have all of this. So we'll just pull up this one here. where we do in fact talk about that in the listing images.
So when we're looking at any form of kind of surface compatibility, this again, one of those things that is much better suited for actually being in the listing images versus being directly in the A plus content. So if you actually look here, we do have that on here where we essentially say easy install washable versatile.
So you can see all of these different details of, you know, what, uh, people can be utilizing this for. also does show basically the sizing as well and what it can go on. So it's one of those immediately here, we show all of the different surfaces that does work on sticks to almost every surface, right? So you don't need something like this directly within the a plus content at all times.
Moving on, highlight durability testing. Again, we're doing that specifically in here, right? So washable, we're showing the durability of it, right? Clean first, seamless application. So emphasize noise reduction benefits. I don't, I don't know how else we can emphasize it outside of super quiet shock, absorbent, right? These are the noise, uh, reduction benefits.
