Um so Hopefully you guys did something fun over the weekend too. Outside of that, my weekend was pretty, pretty tame, pretty chill. I did go out for drinks with my neighbors after the Dodger game. My neighbors are like, Oh, let's go have drinks.
And I was like, Oh, okay, yeah, let's go have drinks. And so we went to have drinks, and then we had a very lively conversation about Lindsay Clancy. Um, we were talking about it and like the nuances of it. And then there was this couple next to us, and then they like they're like, We don't mean to interject. But like we also, you know, we're overhearing your conversation and we have thoughts and then it like got crazy. And then I was like, ah, racist storm out of the bar. It it got a little Golo Wild. Cause that was uh that continued to to well, I don't know if I would say that continued to escalate over the weekend, but it definitely um Definitely uh continued on. So Ed Sheeran, Philadelphia, this past weekend gave his first concert since all of the drama with Macklemore and his other opening acts, Lucas Graham, Phineas, them all pulling out, um, his band pulling out. So for the most part, it was a pretty stripped-down set that he gave. And the concert was originally set to start at 5:30. It ended up not starting until eight, which was his original time. to go on stage.
And he addressed the controversy. He addressed all of the the backlash regarding McLamore and McLamore being kicked off or not kicked off, but being removed from the tour. Um as the opening act, he uh it kind of seems like he was struggling a bit because this was his first time back. He addressed all of the the um The removal and he did talk about Israel, he talked about Gaza, he talked about that controversy.
