Be the right club. Be the right club today.
That's better than most. How about him? That is better than most. Better than most! Expect anything different?
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the No Laying Up live show presented as always by our friends at Titleist Solid here. We got a full house tonight. Mr. Big Randy is here. Hello, Big. Hello, guys. Excited to be here. Neil Icarito Schuster is here. Hello, Neil.
Hell yeah, Big. Fire it up tonight. I'm doing fantastic. Let's get it on. TC is here. Hello, TC.
Greetings, guys. Randy, I'm stoked your guy Blocky got it done. Oh, out of banded.
I know we got a whole segment on that.
I'll save some thoughts. A massive show tonight. We have a lot to discuss. Cameron Young wins the Cadillac Championship. Mikhail Lindbergh wins the Turkish Airlines Open. Nelly Korda wins again the Riviera Maya Open. Mari Avery looking to go back-to-back on the Epson Tour. They're on the back nine right now. Jesse Dromer wins the PGA Club Pro Championship. Massive week in live golf news. There's some Ryder Cup news. We have a lot to discuss today, but before we get to there... I want to remind you, the No Layup Show here is brought to you by our friends at FootJoy, the number one shoe in golf, the number one shoe at the Cadillac Championship, and the official shoe for Cam Young. We talked about some of the tweaks Cam has made recently to his clubs, to his golf ball.
He's also done some testing with the footwear, like Justin Thomas has, like Adam Scott has. Cam views footwear as part of his equipment, and through recent testing, he determined Premier Series is the best for his game. So for him... The stability in the sole of the Premier helps his foot function as a single unit and harness as much power as possible through the swing. He needs the trail foot to be locked in with the all-new Premier Series. Even he tried to exaggerate his movement in the testing to see if he could get the trail foot to move and was unable to do so. The process confirmed he had all the performance he needed, plus incredible comfort and the classic styling he prefers. We teased this a couple weeks ago as well, but we'll have some more to share on this.
But TC went through a similar testing process, found the Premier Series was the best for his game, Uh, I can attest as his witness, a three and a half mile an hour ball speed gain in the premier versus other shoes he had been wearing. So just picture seeing a game like that just by wearing the right, uh, golf shoe for your son.
So I will say the, the 2026, the new premieres. They're like 30% lighter. The tongue is very beefed up. They just have a lot more structure there. It's a noted improvement over what was already my favorite shoe in the game.
Much more to come on that process, but needless to say, like Cam Young, TC, all in on the Premier Series. So check out the full line of FootJoy shoes, including the new Premier Series at FootJoy.com. Guys, Cadillac Championship was not the greatest golf tournament I've ever seen, but if you don't mind, I'm going to quickly remind you of what went down this week. Cameron Young took a six shot lead into the final round over Scotty Scheffler, Siwoo Kim and Christopher. I've now heard right hand. I've heard rate in, uh, I've heard a lot of things now and I do not know how to pronounce it. I was so committed to right hand. It was super easy to remember. It was like right hand. Uh, and I've, I've, that's how it's been.
And now all of a sudden all the CBS guys are calling him rate in, uh, Is P.J. Thorpe's bio page has Raiden? I'm just going to apologize ahead in advance on that one. But anyways, probably the bigger story here. Cameron Young, tee times got moved up Sunday because of weather. They got delayed a little bit. Ball in hand, whatnot. The most dramatic thing, maybe the day Cameron Young called a penalty on himself in the second fairway when his ball moved after he addressed it.
What are the highlights from the Cadillac Championship?
Still went on to make par, actually increased his lead shortly after that, up to seven shots with birdies on three and five.
