What’s on the agenda for today’s show – guests, segments and sponsor shout‑outs?
Okay. You can also find us on the socials as well. Here's the handles. At Oilers Now, at Bob underscore Stoffer and at
Aiden Ganum underscore AYD E N. It's a little bit different than you'd expect it to be.
Brendan made it tough too on everybody. But you finally get that worked out with the S's and the T's and everything, so there's that. Okay, let's get right to it. Let's get to today's top story, which is brought to you by Legacy Heating and Cooling, home of no payments and no interest for one year. That is how you build a legacy. Legacy heating and cooling. Edmonton Oiler's coming up with a rather Exciting. Victory over the Montreal Canadians last night. But man oh man, what an adventure that was
last night. Yeah, just absolutely insane. I mean that's uh that's a heck of a hockey game to go to. That's a crazy way to spend a Thursday night too. That felt like a hockey night in Canada kind of game and it was
not. Well both teams had two game two goal uh two goal leads. Montr Montreal came back in a minute and fifty two seconds with three goals to surpass the Orler lead and then they had a two goal lead and the Orlers come back in the third period and find a way to win that one. But it was just it was crazy.
Yeah, just absolutely insane. Montreal looks pretty solid this year. They I like the way that rebuild is going, the way that they've put that team together. It i it looks pretty sound. They could be trouble in the next few years.
Funny, Bob and I were chatting this morning and I said, You know, Bob, all the times we talk about how the officials have gone against the Oilers in this game. Gone against the Oilers in that game. They got the benefit of the officiating last night I felt, and I actually felt Montreal played better than the Edmonton Oilers, but the experienced veteran savvy kind of team came up with a victory.
Yeah, and you could hear it in Montreal's postgame too.
