Yeah, I mean, I know Adam Huxley. He comes down and he runs like the Powered Pro Skates. So I skate with him a little bit in the summer. And he asked me to come up and I had nothing going on. So I figured, why not? Why not, eh? Yeah, now I'm here in Wainwright.
Yeah. We've talked about you a lot, and I think you know why. Because there may have been a guy hosting an afternoon drive show in Edmonton during the course of the 23-24 season that said, we need to bridge Philip Broberg and bridge Dylan Holloway. You ended up part of a double offer sheet with the St. Louis Blues. Back-to-back 20-goal seasons, and you've been rewarded. You're now represented by Judd Moldaver. That's Connor McDavid's agent. and you got yourself off the top. Was it a five-year extension in the sevens somewhere? Nice work if you can get it. So congratulations. It's obviously been a good move for you. Maybe just a thought on what's taken place in St. Louis because it's been a big off-season change in St.
Louis. Obviously started at the deadline with a couple veterans getting moved out there. You played through some injuries, but you've got to be looking forward to the upcoming year with the Blues.
Yeah, yeah, for sure. I mean, first off, thank you. It's definitely been a change, but it's been, I think, you know, it's been great. And, yeah, I'm really excited going into next season.
Why is Dylan Holloway at the Wainwright celebrity hockey game and how did he get involved?
I feel like we've got a bunch of new young pieces, and it always sucks to see you guys go, especially guys that are big parts of the team, like Falker and Schenner, and then Ruzzi got traded here in the summer. But, I mean, we've got McMichael coming in. We've got McTavish, too. We're really building this young core, and it's pretty exciting to be a part of. And, yeah, I mean, I think that we –
you know can grow as this core and you know i think over the offseason we did get better and i'm just excited to go go and prove that i always uh and some people say it's an antiquated stat uh i don't believe it is i think sometimes plus minus reveals a thing especially when you're on a 500 type team and back-to-back years on a year plus 21 plus 13 and the one thing about you dylan is when you're on the ice the puck is in the opposition's end which is a good sign and you're a good puck transporter but maybe just a thought on the opportunity in st louis because you basically play top six from day one
yeah i mean uh you know i definitely had to earn that spot i think going in i wasn't top six but uh over the past like two years i think i've solidified myself as a top six guy which i'm gonna continue to try and do and uh yeah the opportunity that i got in st louis right away is definitely something that you know i i didn't get in edmonton and i think like obviously understandably so i mean you got Leon and Connor, two of the best players in the world, and so many good players in Edmonton. But just really try to grow with that opportunity and, you know, kind of make the most of it.
