As we head off to the River Creek Resort Casino Hotline, and welcome back to the show, Frank Cervalli. He's our Oilers Now headliner for Wilhock Beef Jerky.
Others try to imitate, but nobody can duplicate the great flavor of Wilhock Beef Jerky, only available in L.A. in Leduc, Alberta. Hello, Frank. How are you doing? Robert, how was your summer? It was good. Yep, it was good.
Yeah? What are you down? Let's have a competition. for charity
well how
much are you down
uh six six whole pounds since may the second uh depending upon the day because i've had events three straight nights so um 48 to 52 pounds
48 to 52 holy smokes
yeah Good for you. You can ask our mutual acquaintance, the legendary Daily Doug, who has seen me at a downtown establishment that does not advertise on this show, so I don't give him any credit. Joey Bell Tower, and you can see how I did that. Anyways, yeah, so...
Juicing or no? Like performance enhancing?
Nothing at all since about June the 20th.
How do Frank and Bob discuss their charity weight‑loss challenge and the results?
So tried something, didn't like it. Let's see, Frank. On average, about 60...
I'm sure one of our listeners out there can put together... some kind of competition percentage of something of either weight or body fat or something that we could go head to head and Raise money for charity. Yeah, so... My favorite Northern Alberta charity.
All right, so roughly 16,000 steps a day, 10,000 steps guaranteed usually before 8 a.m. or before 9 a.m., like usually starting at 7.30. I have now
incorporated... No, I'm usually on the receiving end of calls
during that time. Yes. How'd you know?
From you.
Yes. Put it this way, when I started... You could hear me breathing when I was walking. And now I'm no longer strong. I can just do it. So now we've incorporated stairs. Now, you know where I live in Stantec. So on the cooler days, we make our way into the building or in days that it rains. So and then eliminated everything I drink is zero. So I still like Red Bull, so I drink Red Bull Zero, Coke Zero, you know, Powerade, Gatorade Zero, water, soda water. And then I try to limit the, you know, because the show's over at 6 o'clock, I generally try to eat earlier during the day. And maybe once every second day we'll eat after 6 o'clock.
Well, I brought it up to say in front of everyone that I'm proud of you, buddy. Well, the time had come. Well, thank you.
So you're down six? You just started is what you're saying.
Yeah, but also not zero performance enhancing.
What daily step and stair routine are they using to stay fit while traveling?
Zero performance enhancing. Yes. So I went on Ozembic for six weeks is what I did. Okay. You got like six shots. That's why I tried that. Didn't really work for me. So. 48 to 52. I mean, that's a huge head start. But the big, the, yeah, but it was like 15 to 18 on that. The biggest, the biggest thing is improving. Yeah. Just to, you know, And I guess what I'd say to people out there listening is if I can do it, anybody can do it, because I've been historically amongst the most undisciplined person. I never met a drink that I didn't like. So.
I'm with you, and we're both, we spend so much time on the phone, traveling, working. It's like, it becomes a 22-hour-a-day job, not an exaggeration. And you just, whenever I get to the next city, the question for me always becomes, work out or catch a nap if I can for 30 minutes or an hour? And it becomes... you're so sleep deprived that you just take that every time.
Yeah, absolutely. So I can usually with the actual step slash stair combo, I can do about an hour 45. No, I don't know if I'm going to have that time every day.
