Uh, it's okay. We it was originally supposed to be Bob, but we're having some issues uh getting the feed over from Winnipeg, so we're uh we're rolling with me just for now. But uh technology is awesome. Super, super excited to have you on. Before we get into tonight's game, I mean, what was your take on Saturday? Obviously a a a much lighter for the or a much lighter lineup for the Jets. Uh just wanna get your take on that game.

Well, uh it it may not have been it's not a pr you know, with pre season game doesn't carry a whole lot of importance to it, but it carried a lot of importance to let's start with Thomas Milllich. 'Cause that was of this moment we don't know who the backup for Stuart Skinner is gonna be as the Connor Hellibuck situation is resolved w you know, is hasn't been resolved yet obviously. So Thomas Millich and Dominic De Vincentis who gets to start tonight against the Oilers are battling for the Backup position behind the uh the former Edmonton Euler. So that it was in it was significant that way. Tyrell Bauer is another guy. You know, there's an opening on the Jets blue line right now because uh Elias Salomonson is hurt.

So that kind of opens up a spot for the time being. He'll he should be back by the end of October. So you got Tyrell Bauer, you got Jack St. Um looking for that extra spot on. on the Jets blue line, uh there is a seven eight defenseman, not quite sure how that all will shake out. And then you got Danny Jilkin, you've got Brad Lambert, you have uh Braden Yeager, uh guys that are trying to work their way into the lineup for the Jets on opening night against the Boston Bruins in the forward group. So that looking at that way, you it was exciting to see them go up against the best players in the world. And I was talking with Jacob Julian Who scored a goal for the Jets uh in the third period. I'm like, what was it like where you you know when they're buzzing around?

What how does that feel? And he goes, It was awesome. You know, you you just for two seconds, you know, you're watching the two best players in the world go to work and you're overwhelmed, but also at the same time you're looking at it and going, this this is totally awesome. So uh loss to take from them. The compete was there. Um we all know what preseason hockey is, but uh for the Winnipeg Jets this far. All uh there are jobs uh w that ordinarily wouldn't be open 'cause the Jets have been such a v veteran laid in squad. Now they're looking to get a little younger this year and those are just some of the guys are gonna be fighting for spots.

What are the expectations for Brad Lambert heading into this game? I mean, uh you know, he's starting to get a little bit older, only twenty two years old, of course, but I mean, just what's your overall take on him and and what is Winnipeg, you know, expecting of him through this preseason and into twenty six, twenty seven?

Well, I I mean It's very apparent that they bel they are giving him a a a huge opportunity. So last year after the trade deadline they they called Brad Lambert up from the American Hockey League uh and the Manitoba Moose and they said, Here's your runway, uh go with it.
