He grew up in Ottawa, Canada and started drinking at 17 years old. His drinking became habitual and after his first year of touring and the pandemic his drinking was essentially a part of his everyday routine.After releasing ‘dear alcohol’ he knew it was time to stop, and was sober for 4 months. Whilst he relapsed during a vacation, Dax is now over a month sober again.
